“The Real Has Come!” Episode 7 & 8 Recap and Trailer Breakdown

Tae Kyung proposes to Yeon Doo even though he has his arranged wedding coming up in a few days…!

Here are the highlights of what happened in episodes 7 & 8 of “The Real Has Come!”

“The Real Has Come!” Episodes 7 & 8 Recap:

• Jun Ha was furious about the fact that Yeon Doo was pregnant with someone else. (which was a lie from Tae Kyung to protect Yeon Doo from Jun Ha, the prick) Jun Ha relentlessly asks Yeon Doo who the father of the baby is, but Yeon Doo refuses to tell him the truth because she knows that she will only get hurt.

• Se Jin, who had ulterior motives for this arranged marriage with Tae Kyung, reveals a note that implies that Tae Kyung is cheating on Se Jin. The note was left from Yeon Doo, who took care of a sick Tae Kyung the other night, that said, ”Get well soon.” Ms. Eun, the head of the family, who already has strong hatred towards Tae Kyung, is livid and asks him to behave himself before the wedding with Se Jin. Tae Kyung is devastated and is also very hurt to see Se Jin, who is now showing her true self, she wants to marry into a rich family. Tae Kyung is in a dilemma now because the family is mistaking him for cheating on Se Jin, and the family doesn’t know the truth behind Se Jin wanting to marry Tae Kyung.

• Se Jin was a bully and played with Tae Kyung’s heart when they were both in high school. She bashed him with such hurtful words and even told him that she will never ever like someone like him even if the world changed. Tae Kyung was always wondering why Se Jin is so mean to him and she tells him that he is easy and he should be treated badly because he is worthless. (WOW! Se Jin was such a bully, and now her plan is to marry him? Absurd!) Because of these terrible memories that are haunting Tae Kyung till now, he is determined to try everything he can to stop the wedding.

• Jun Ha cannot get over the fact that this prick, Tae Kyung, was Yeon Doo’s other lover. When they meet, he asks Tae Kyung all these meaningless questions, and Tae Kyung tells Jun Ha this to piss him off even more, ”If you’d have satisfied Yeon Doo, she wouldn’t have dated me. You should be embarrassed.” Jun Ha and Tae Kyung got into a fist fight and they ended up at the police station. Yeon Doo hears about this and rushes to the station and tells everyone the truth to mitigate the situation. She tells Jun Ha that he is the father of the baby and also asks if he is going to be responsible for it and that she wants nothing to do with him since the day he yelled at her to tell her not to get in his way with the baby.

• Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo have a deep conversation about how they have just met but already know so much about each other. Yeon Doo thanks Tae Kyung that he has helped her numerous times but apologizes about how she cannot help with his arranged marriage with Se Jin. Yeon Doo leaves, but Tae Kyung grabs her by the hand and asks her to marry her, he means to be his fake fiancée. He proposes a ridiculous plan that will be a win-win situation for both Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo if they fake an engagement. Yeon Doo currently needs a father for the baby and Tae Kyung needs someone so that he won’t be able to marry Se Jin. Yeon Doo was quite offended and asks him if he thinks she’s easy to be involved in a situation to lie to everyone.

• Jun Ha finds out that his lover Se Jin (the woman he cheated with when he was with Yeon Doo), is marrying the prick Tae Kyung. Jun Ha rushes to Se Jin’s company and asks for her, but she ignores him.

• Bong Nim visits Tae Kyung’s home to confront them without Yeon Doo knowing. She searches everywhere in the neighborhood where Tae Kyung might live and knocks on every door to find where Tae Kyung lives. Yu Myung, who is the youngest daughter of Ms. Eun’s family returns back from overseas and is very shocked to find out that her brother, who she thought was against marriage, is actually getting married! The whole family is summoned and, when they are all  in the living room, they get an unexpected guest.

• Bong Nim finally finds the house Tae Kyung lives in and Yeon Doo finds out about it. When Bong Nim was constantly ringing the doorbell, Tae Kyung tried to settle the situation by asking Bong Nim to leave. Bong Nim would not and asks him if this is all his fault. (Bong Nim still believes the father of Yeon Doo’s baby is Tae Kyung) Tae Kyung then tells Bong Nim that he is innocent and he also even proposed to Yeon Doo, and it is Yeon Doo who rejected him. Bong Nim takes this as very good news and invites Tae Kyung to her place.

• Bong Nim showers Tae Kyung with delicious food and drinks, and Tae Kyung has never felt the warmth of family in such a long time. He was always lonely and felt like an outcast, but in Bong Nim’s home, he felt like this is what family should be like.

• Yeon Doo finally confesses to Bong Nim that Tae Kyung is not the father of the baby and that she lied. Bong Nim is flabbergasted and leaves home.

• On Tae Kyung and Se Jin’s wedding day,  Tae Kyung is not that happy. Jun Ha, who just couldn’t let go of Se Jin, visits her at her wedding. He gets kicked out, but this relentless guy happens to meet Se Jin’s father and tells him that Se Jin is about to marry a guy who has a baby with another woman. Jun Ha is not playing here, he is really here to sabotage Tae Kyung and Se Jin’s wedding! Se Jin’s father tries to stop Jun Ha, but Jun Ha pushes Se Jin’s father to the floor, hitting his head and becoming unconscious.

• Se Jin still walks down the aisle without her father and the wedding continues until Yeon Doo interrupts and shouts to Tae Kyung that he shoul be responsible for the baby!

Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo both agree to be each other’s fake fiancée.

They explain how they met to In Ok  and say it was a one night stand. In Ok is beyond shocked.

Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo continue to fake their relationship.

Se Jin asks Yeon Doo to give up on the baby and Ms. Eun asks Yeon Doo to get an abortion.

However, Yeon Doo is persistent and begs the family to accept her.

Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo’s family meet.
