Spring is near and love is truly in the air, can you feel it too?

There are so many K-Drama couples that we aspire to be like. These couples give us comfort and show us how we can rely on others and be vulnerable with the people who make us feel loved. But what is love, really? Love has many meanings, and for me, it is about being considered and feeling at peace. These are the same feelings we experience while watching our favorite K-Drama couples. If you are looking for a good show that will make your heart flutter, then you have come to the right place.

Idol I” Couple

First on the list is our recent new favorite K-Drama couple of the year, Choi Soo Young and Kim Jae Young from “Idol I!” This show is perfect for both K-Drama and K-Pop fans as the main couple is a K-Pop idol and his fan of 10 years, who is also a successful lawyer. This might seem like a feel-good idol drama but it’s not, because their lives get intertwined when she decides to take on his case after he is accused of murdering his bandmate!

They may not be your typical K-Drama couple, but through them, we see how important it is to find someone who will stay by your side during your lowest moments. He was once her savior through his music, and now it is her turn to protect him. As time passes, they become the missing pieces in each other’s lives.

Dr. Romantic 2” Couple

One of my most favorite K-Drama couples ever is from the beloved medical drama, “Dr. Romantic 2” starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung. Set in a countryside hospital, the drama follows two passionate doctors learning not only how to save lives, but also how to appreciate the romance in it.

Not only having amazing chemistry, but their relationship screams couple goals as it is filled with quiet support and mutual respect. They push each other to grow, both as doctors and as individuals. Since they are working together, we get to see them in stressful situations and heartfelt moments, their love shows us how powerful it is to have someone who believes in you, even when you doubt yourself.

Crushology 101” Couple

To those who love youthful and relatable romance, we have Roh Jeong Eui and Lee Chae Min from “Crushology 101!” This drama centers around a college student navigating her first heartbreak and her crazy chaotic encounters with the student council president!

Who wouldn’t enjoy dramas about first love? The couple’s dynamic feels innocent and sincere, capturing the excitement and vulnerability of first love. Watching them figure out their feelings reminds us of how love can be confusing yet thrilling, especially when you are still learning who you are and what your heart wants.

Welcome To Waikiki” Couple

Adding a fun and chaotic couple to this list is Kim Jung Hyun and Jung In Sun from “Welcome to Waikiki.” Set inside a struggling guesthouse, a romance blossomed between a short-tempered young man and a single mother who ends up staying in the guesthouse with her baby daughter!

Their relationship starts off awkward, funny, and far from perfect, but that is exactly what makes this couple so lovable. Through misunderstandings, laughter, and emotional moments, they learn how to support each other even when life feels messy. This couple reminds us that love does not always arrive at the perfect time, but sometimes, it comes when you need it the most.

The Package

Next is a refreshing and underrated couple, Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Yeon Hee from “The Package.” This drama takes place mostly in France and our main couple is a Korean tour guide woman and a Korean man joining a package tour.

What I love most about this series is it shows us where two strangers slowly grow closer through shared moments abroad. Their romance is special seeing how honest and mature they are. Their relationship shows that love can still find you despite being a hundred kilometers away from home.

Young Lady and Gentleman” Couple

If you’re looking for a classic family romance drama, then you might enjoy Ji Hyun Woo and Lee Se Hee’s “Young Lady and Gentleman.” This is one of the best KBS weekend drama that follows the story of single father and a bright, hardworking woman who enters his household as his children’s live-in tutor.

What I enjoy most about them is their relationship grows slowly because we witnessed them from being strangers to getting closer after spending time together on the same house. Through everyday moments and family challenges, they learn how to lean on each other showing us a love knows no bound despite being on different chapters of your life.

Into The Ring

If looking for a one of a kind romcom K-Drama, then we have Nana and Park Sung Hoon from “Into the Ring.” This drama follows a passionate woman who enters local politics and a civil servant turned her secretary who stands beside her every step of the way.

They are one of the best examples as their relationship is playful but being supportive. Instead of traditional tropes, where the woman is the man’s secretary we see the opposite in here. We see a couple who openly communicates their feeling and is there for each other’s win. Their love reminds us that the best relationships are built on communication and respect.

Wok of Love” Couple

Last but definitely not least is the sizzling romance between Lee Jun Ho and Jung Ryeo Won from “Wok of Love.” Set in the world of Chinese cuisine, the drama tells the story of a man who started at the very bottom of a hotel kitchen to becoming a top chef and a chaebol heiress who went bankrupt!

I’m always a fan of bickering chaotic couples! The two started with clashing personalities but then slowly turns into something warm and comforting as they spend more time together. This couple shows us that love can be found in unexpected places, especially when two people are willing to start again together.

K-Drama really sets the standard for us! How about you, who’s your favorite couple? Don’t worry where to find all of these shows as they are all available for streaming on KOCOWA+!
