“Three Bold Siblings” Episode 5 & 6 Recap and Trailer Breakdown

I’m still getting used to some of the characters’ names!

Let’s highlight the key recap points from episodes 5 and 6 of “Three Bold Siblings”.

“Three Bold Siblings” Episodes 5 & 6 Recap:

• Tae Ju and Sang Jun go on a reality show together. They have to really act to seem genuine. Tae Ju’s motive behind appearing on the show is that she really wants to find her uncle. She hopes her uncle will somehow watch the show she appears on and find him soon. Both Tae Ju and Sang Jun’s mothers seem to be very bothered by this whole idea of them two appearing on the same show together since they have been enemies for a very long time.

• So Rim got her Pilates lesson canceled, so she called her boyfriend Nam Soo to see where he was to have dinner together. However, he lies and says he was working overtime. He even goes out to eat dinner with Ji Hye (daughter of his company’s CEO)!! Nam Soo and Ji Hye have quality time together, and when he drops her off at her place, Ji Hye asks him if he has a girlfriend. He lies and tells her he broke up a long time ago. Then Ji Hye gives him a sudden peck on his cheek, and she expresses her feelings toward him. He is a little flustered, but he cannot hide his excitement and asks her to go out for another drink!

• Sang Jun also becomes the narrator of a documentary that Tae Ju is writing. When San Jun was in a recording session, Tae Ju, in a split second, gets mesmerized by his charming voice and looks. She is startled by her own behavior and gets hiccups. They also continue filming their variety show, but Sang Jun keeps doing things that are not in the script. Tae Ju is a little surprised at first, but she doesn’t seem to be so uncomfortable by it. When she comes home, she does not understand why her heart is beating so fast and blames it on the health examination that she hasn’t attended for a long time. LOL!! On another episode, there was a scene where Sang Jun was barbequing, and a dangerous thing happened, the flame got Sang Jun’s arm. Tae Ju is so shocked and rushes to get a kit. Sang Jun grabs Tae Ju by her arm and kisses her in front of everybody! Sang Jun bails out on the reality show after finding out that Tae Ju was portrayed very wrongly on the show, and he was worried she might have a bad reputation. When Se Ran found out about this, she gets furious and calls Tae Ju. However, Tae Ju was in the middle of her relaxing bath time and accidentally drops the phone in the water.

• Gun Woo calls Yu Ri to see where she was, but she lies and tells him she’s out with her friends when she was actually at home with her second man getting ready to shower together. She accidentally didn’t hang up, and Gun Woo hears everything. He is dumbfounded by the situation.

• Se Ran asks Tae Ju to meet in person. Tae Ju was reluctant, but once Se Ran insisted, they actually met. Se Ran tells Tae Ju about her concerns toward Sang Jun’s careless act of bailing out of the show in the middle of filming. Se Ran believes this may be because of Sang Jun, who takes this reality program way too seriously. Sang Jun might be going on a blind date, but because of what he has right now with Tae Ju, he just doesn’t want to affect Tae Ju in any negative way. Se Ran asks a favor to Tae Ju to talk Sang Jun out of continuing the show since what they have is all just part of an act. Tae Ju rejects and tells Se Ran that she respects Sang Jun’s decision.

• Tae Ju and Sang Jun’s reality program gets canceled, not due to Sang Jun’s bail but because one of the other couples had a serious scandal. Sang Jun still really wanted to help Tae Ju find her uncle, so he proposed to her a movie scenario with a main female lead in search of her uncle. They were picturing what the story would be like, but Tae Ju cuts him off and tells him that she no longer wants to see him again.

• Sang Jun was home, and he spotted a photobook from his cousin’s bookshelf. While he was looking through it, he came across a very strange envelope with “Paternity Test” Written on it. He was about to check it, but her aunt called him out, so he couldn’t check it. Later on, Sang Jun asks his cousin what that was all about, and he tells him it was a DNA test between him and his wife. He accidentally took his wife’s toothbrush instead of his child’s, and it all became a comedy.

• So Rim goes on a house hunt with Tae Ju in search of a new place to settle in with Nam Soo. There, they found a picture of the couple who are currently living at the place, and they spotted Yu Ri, who was their youngest brother Gun Woo’s current girlfriend. In the picture, she was smiling with another man. The two sisters are astounded and take pictures for proof and take pictures of Yu Ri’s second man’s business card. Tae Ju and So Rim then sign up for a one-day class at Yu Ri’s second boyfriend’s gym. They ask multiple questions regarding Yu Ri to collect more information. After finding out that Yu Ri met this trainer before their brother Gun Woo, the sisters ask the trainer to lift a very heavy weight to embarrass him in front of the gym members. After the one-day training class, they summon Yu Ri and confront her about everything. Yu Ri denies all facts, then the sisters have an ultimatum. They intrude at Yu Ri’s place and take pictures of both Yu Ri and her second boyfriend together. In the process, Tae Ju sprains her wrist and goes to Gun Woo for help. When So Rim tells Gun Woo what happened, he nonchalantly tells them he already knew. He also tells them that he is actually relieved that Yu Ri was cheating because he didn’t love her enough to get married. He was going to get married to Yu Ri only because Gun Woo’s mother really liked her.

• Tae Ju gets a romantic message from Yun Ho (the director of the program she is writing). He sends videos of the blue ocean as a gift to her. She is really touched by the message and sleeps well afterwards. In the morning, she wakes up with very unpleasant news. It was news about Sang Jun planning on getting married to a beautiful pianist. But the photo was of her and Sang Jun. Tae Ju is super shocked and is clueless about what is going on!

The Episode 7 Trailer Breakdown of “Three Bold Siblings” on KOCOWA!

Sang Jun is hiding behind the closet in Tae Ju’s room while Tae Ju’s mother Jung Sook searches for clothes that she does not wear anymore.

So Rim finds out that her caller ID on Nam Soo’s phone is “Real Estate Agency” instead of “My Love So Rim.”

Tae Ju pushes Sang Jun away but he still believes everything happened because of fate.

Se Ran does not understand why Tae Ju is keep dragging Sang Jun down and tells Hyun Jung not to get married.

Yun Ho asks Tae Ju if there is possibility of him being more than just a friend to her.

Tae Ju really wants to find her uncle and she finds this strange business card that might belong to him.
