WOW, the last two episodes of “Young Lady and Gentleman” were definitely intense! Here are some recap points to go over from “Young Lady and Gentleman” episode 15 and 16.
- Sa Ra Reluctantly Leaves!
When Sara confessed her feelings toward Young Guk, he said she can no longer stay at the house. Seeing this was really heartbreaking because we as a viewer know that Sa Ra’s real son Se Jong is in the house and, like all the mothers, Sa Ra has a big picture of wanting to build a relationship with Young Guk and eventually become a happy family altogether.
- Sa Ra Reminisces When She Had to Abandon Se Jong
After leaving Young Guk’s house, Sa Ra reminisces back when she had no choice but to leave her newborn baby at his place, and wishing this baby a better life that Sa Ra couldn’t provide.
- Will Dan Dan and Young Guk Overcome Their Age Difference?
Now that Dan Dan and Young Guk are officially going out, they go to a fancy restaurant for a lovely date. However Young Guk encounters his friend and his friend bluntly asks if Dan Dan is Young Guk’s niece. HOW AWKWARD! Due to the age gap, they face some obstacles like people talking behind their back and questioning their relationship. Even Anna Kim, who is a big advocate of Young Guk, asks him to make sure that he doesn’t have his eye on Dan Dan, and she wishes that he meets someone that suits him.
- Left at The Altar Moment!
It was finally Se Ryeon’s wedding day, even though she had doubts in her mind about this whole wedding but because she really wanted to help her mother she was willing to get married. However an unexpected guest arrives and tells Se Ryeon that she is pregnant by Se Ryeon’s soon to be husband!!!! Se Ryeon is speechless and asks Dan Dan to help her hide in the bathroom. Se Ryeon eventually escapes the wedding venue and makes sure Dan Dan does not tell this to anyone.
- What Happened in the Mountains?!?!?!?
Young Guk climbs the mountain and thinks of his wife who has passed. He confesses about his feelings for Dan Dan and asks for permission. Even though there is no answer back, Young Guk needed this time alone to let out the guilt that he might have held toward his late wife about having feelings for Dan Dan. AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, Young Guk’s meaningful purple handkerchief flies away, and what do you think he did? Of course he throws himself to catch it, but falls and loses consciousness…
Trailer Breakdown Episode 17: Does Young Guk Lose His Memory?!?!?!
Mi Sook kindly offers that Soo Chul and his family move next door after seeing his shabby place, but he strongly refuses.
After seeing gold bars hidden behind the wall of Ae Ran’s room, Ki Ja plans to steal them as a payoff to the money Ae Ran’s mother owed to Ki Ja’s mother a long time ago.
To take her mind off of getting rejected by Young Guk, Sa Ra drinks everyday. She keeps encountering Cha Gun and befriends him.
Lastly…I know the last scene of episode 16 was not pleasant at all when we saw Young Guk fall. And I thought it would just be a minor injury, but of course the story does not go that simply. Everyone is worried that he hasn’t returned home for a long time, and the last scene of the trailer is Young Guk saying, “Who am I, really?”
WHAT!!! I thought now that Dan Dan and Young Guk finally got to know their feelings toward each other, only the happy stories lie ahead of us! But Young Guk loses his memory!?!?

YAY!! My current fav drama 🙂 <3
The show the young lady and the Gentleman is a long series with 50 episodes. So i expect some plot twist to bring all the characters together perfect to keep the story line strong and interesting. Right now with Lee Young -Guk losing his memory, Lee Ki-Ka is going used this to keep her in the house and bring back Jo Sa-ra and they both used this to get rid of Dan-Dan. And Anna Kim use this to persuade Dan-Dan to go to America with her. Because that another story. Because we know Lee Ki-ja stole something from Lee Ki -Ja. But i do believe Dan-Dan and Lee Young Yuk will come back together because the hangerchief is going come back some how to bring them back together and his memory. Point is i have guesses to about what the next two episodes is going be about it. I could be wrong. But since it a long series. We need four new episode a week with this show. I get this on Kocowa in New Jersey. And this is now my favorite show to watch since Dali and The Cocky Prince series is over.
