The last two episodes were definitely heartbreaking to watch. Dan Dan really wanted to know what her mother looked like and where her mother lies in peace, but eventually found out that her biological mother was still alive! I was super sad to watch the flashbacks where Soo Chul was about to commit suicide with Dan Dan in his arm after their biological mother abandoned the family. I couldn’t hold back my tears… How about you guys? Well, if you haven’t watched it, I have the “Young Lady and Gentleman” episode 31 and 32 highlighted recap points right here!

- No More Engagement Plans!
Young Guk was furious when he heard that Sa Ra locked the little boys in a dark, confined space. And he decided to call the engagement off. Of course, Sa Ra doesn’t take this well and bursts into tears of complaint about how she feels betrayed that he went skiing with Dan Dan but Sa Ra wasn’t allowed to.
- Dan Dan’s Plan on Going to the States…
Dan Dan tells Ana Kim and Soo Chul that she is a bit hesitant to go to the States. Ana Kim assumes this is because of Dan Dan’s boyfriend. Both Ana Kim and Soo Chul are worried because Dan Dan seems very distraught because of the relationship she is in, and Ana Kim also assumes that the boyfriend is the reason Dan Dan is holding back.
- The Kids Visit Dan Dan’s House…
The kids have a visit to Dan Dan’s house to check up on Dan Dan. They really enjoy the time with Dan Dan and her family playing all sorts of games.The laughter is endless in Dan Dan’s house. Young Guk went to pick up the kids, and they told Young Guk that Dan Dan seems to be really sick, and on top of that, she seemed to have a serious concern.
- Yeon Sil Finds Something Strange…
Yeon Sil visits Ana Kim’s place to show her gratitude for scouting Soo Chul to the States. Then she finds something very peculiar, pictures of Dan Dan as a baby. Yeon Sil looks for Dan Dan’s baby pictures that she personally owns and compares them to the ones she saw at Ana Kim’s place…
- Mi Sook is Enraged!!!
Mi Sook finds out from Dan Dan that Dan Dan’s biological mother died long ago, and her current stepmom was the reason Dan Dan’s mother died. Mi Sook is furious and tries to find out what really happened. Then she finds out even more shocking news…Dan Dan’s mother is the one who abandoned Dan Dan and Soo Chul! Yeon Sil has kept this secret from Dan Dan ever since. Dan Dan thinks Yeon Sil was the person her father cheated with, and this is the reason her mother died. (Which is not true!)
- Sool Chul Starts Having a Nightmare!
After Soo Chul hears what Yeon Sil saw at Ana Kim’s place, Soo Chul starts to go over things that made him suspicious about Ana Kim. Like the soup that she made for him and the mole on her neck really are too much of a coincidence. Soo Chul trespassed into Ana’s office to search for Dan Dan’s baby pictures that Yeon Sil saw – and he cannot be more shocked!!! (he then takes Ana Kim’s toothbrush for a DNA test!!!….)
- Soo Chul and the DNA Result…
The DNA result shows that Ana Kim and Dan Dan are a 99.9% match. He cannot believe this! All these years, Ana Kim disguised herself as this successful kind-hearted woman who helped Dan Dan. But she also happens to be this cold-hearted woman who abandoned Dan Dan and Soo Chul a long time ago. Soo Chul makes sure Dan Dan is no longer going to the States or meeting with Ana Kim.
- Dan Dan Finds Out the Real Truth…
Dan Dan bumps into a next-door neighbor who slips information about Dan Dan’s biological mother being alive. Dan Dan asks her again and again what she means because she was always told growing up that her mother died. She rushes to her father and asks him where her mother is and why he lied to her this whole time.

Poor Dan Dan… Can Dan Dan just have a normal, peaceful life?!? SERIOUSLY??? She was having such a hard time after Young Guk had amnesia, but now her heart is broken, once again! I love love this video. It is done so perfectly . I cried when Park Dan Dan cried asking her dad to tell her about the woman that gave Birth to her , DanDan asked do she look like the mother that died , so heart breaking. No wonder she has a love of Lee Guk. Children. I hope her dad well do the right thing.
