“Fragile” quickly became highly anticipated following the release of its poster featuring an all-rookie cast. The film explores the lives of teenage students at Joongang High School as they confront the struggles of adolescence—challenges and failures, love, heartbreak, studying, and rebellion—while grappling with the mistakes and missteps that shape their journey.
At Joongang High School, 18-year-old boys and girls are constantly compared to “perfect” standards, chasing grades rather than dreams. They are driven into fierce academic competition, and as they believe they will disappoint their parents if they don’t achieve their goals, they gradually lose themselves. In this tough society, teens start approaching taboos. They engage in risky relationships, and secret sexual activities, and sneak in drinking and smoking, showing their raw youth as they spend their final adolescent years before graduating high school and becoming adults.

Ji Yoo, who has average grades but is slowly losing herself in conflict, Chan Sung, who is passionate but complex inside, Kang San, who appears perfect but suffers from loneliness, Ara, who wavers between ideals and reality, Soo Ho, who hides complicated emotions behind a cold exterior, Mina, who conceals her anxiety, and Doha, who is kind but hard to understand.
