The hit K-Drama “Young Lady and Gentleman” recently completed its fifty-two episode run. Beloved characters Young Guk, Dan Dan, Dae Bum, Se Ryeon, and even villains like Sa Ra were fun to watch over the past several months. Of course, the children Jae Ni, Se Chan, and Se Jong were adorable. Their countless smiles and tears touched hearts around the world. It’s bittersweet to finally say goodbye to them. Before we completely close the K-Drama chapter, let’s discuss a few burning questions that still remain after the finale.

Beware, this article contains precious K-Drama spoilers!

What will Young Guk and Dan Dan’s married life be like?

In many long-term K-Dramas, the audience is given the opportunity to experience the beginning of married life for Young Guk (Ji Hyun Woo) and Dan Dan (Lee Se Hee). We wanted to see their honeymoon highlights, their decorated bedroom, and the new normal within the Lee household. Dan Dan and Wang Dae Ran (Cha Hwa Yeon) had finally taken the necessary steps to start building a good family relationship. Viewers wanted to witness it firsthand. If the newlyweds decide to have children, we want to at least have the assurance of their first pregnancy.

Where did Sa Ra go?

Following the ultimate deception, her mother’s incarceration, and the heartbreaking miscarriage, everyone understands Sa Ra’s desire to run away from her problems. However, no one ever told the audience where she was going exactly. We want to see her settled in a new city somewhere. Despite all the havoc she caused, Sa Ra (Park Ha Na) is still Se Jong’s birth mother. We do want to see mother and son form some sort of cordial relationship in the near future.

What does the future hold for Dae Bum and Se Ryeon?

Where will they move in six months? Will they have children? They mentioned early in their marriage that they only planned to live with Dae Bum’s family for six months. We were all anxious to see their first cozy apartment or home. We know Dae Bum (An Woo Yeon) may continue in the family food business, but what career aspirations does Se Ryeon (Yoon Jin Yi) have?

Will Se Jong ever learn the truth about his birth parents?

Dan Dan was able to spend valuable time with her birth mother, Anna Kim (Lee Il Hwa), until the very end. It was terribly belated, but it still happened. The audience doesn’t want Se Jong (Seo Woo Jin) in the dark about his real ancestry forever. It would have been great if they fast-forwarded some years, and we witnessed Young Guk telling Se Jong about his birth parents. Their story is a tough one to tell but still necessary.

Who moved into Mi Sook’s vacant apartment?

Mi Sook (Lim Ye Jin) kicked Sa Ra out after her mom was arrested. We were all waiting for Dan Dan’s family to move in shortly after. That never happened. The initial shock of Mi Rim’s (Kim Yi Kyeong) secret relationship with Mi Sook’s son postponed the open family invitation. Nonetheless, we still want to know who moved in; and will the family be able to reside there soon?

What are your thoughts about the finale? Do you hope they make another season?

  3. I would have liked to find out more about Dan Dan and Young Guk ‘s early married life too.
Se Ra. Bye Felicia. I don’t care where she went. I would have liked for her to apologize to Dan Dan and for her to see her get what she was coveting.

  4. Would love to see more of their life, how the children get use to the babies, sa ra life goes, does she met up with the grandson, do they marry. How does the marriage work out with the Dan Dan father and wife. Sorry I have such trouble with names

  5. Seriously though… Other older drama had at least a little time jumped. I expect more from extra 2 episodes.

  6. I would really like to see a season 2. It more or less just ended with a lot of questions. I am happy finally for Dan Dan and Young Guk that they got married.

    • For some reason I really thought at least half the show was going to take place after the wedding and deal mostly with the age gap and of course all the craziness of those around them. The show was really at its best when it was Dan Dan, Young Guk and the kids. I would have like to see Dan Dan grow in to her role as stepmother (and mother of twins too!). The ending felt rushed, which is strange for a 50 episode show that was extended another 2 episodes. Even in the epilogue they introduced a whole new character/love interest for Cha Gun, which is crazy for a 5 minute mini episode. Park Ha Na was so good as Sa Ra that I ended up liking the character in the end in spite of everything, so I would have liked to see things work out for her a little in the end.

  7. Guess the epilogue answered somewhat of the 1st qn listed here but yeah the other 4 qns,yes
