“The Seasons: Artist with ZICO”
“The Seasons” follows “Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook” and contributes to the enduring legacy of late-night music talk shows on KBS that span over 30 years. The show was designed to encompass four segments, each reflecting a season of the year and hosted by different stars to deliver a different and unique experience, aligning with KBS’s tradition of naming late-night music programs after the hosting artist.
Jay Park kicked off the program as the first host last spring with “The Seasons: Jay Park Drive.” He was followed by Choi Jung Hoon in the summer with “The Seasons: Choi Jung Hoon’s Night Park,” and AKMU presented “The Seasons: Long Day, Long Night with AKMU” last fall. Most recently, Lee Hyo Ri wrapped up her successful season with “The Seasons: Red Carpet with Lee Hyo Ri” just last month!
Now, Zico steps in as the new host of “The Seasons,” bringing his talent and expertise to the show. As a respected producer and top hip-hop musician, Zico is known for his trendy songs that have become global hits. In keeping with the tradition of naming the show after the hosting artist, his segment will be titled “The Seasons: Artist with ZICO” also the title track of Zico’s second mini album released in 2017. This title symbolizes Zico’s unique personality and self-producing ability. The first filming of “The Seasons: Artist with ZICO” will be a standing special resembling a music festival, showcasing Zico’s return as the leading hip-hop musician and producer of his generation!
