Do you remember “Bloody Game” that aired during 2021? The same director came back with an even bloodier and deadlier game with a better cast for season two.
There were more than expected views of this show, I believe it’s because “Bloody Game” reminded the global viewers of “Big Brother,” which is a reality show of strangers, cut off from the outside world, coexisting in an isolated house.
In the previous season, ten male and female players fought fiercely for the big prize money.
Expectations are high because the director worked with an actual game company to come up with mind-blowing games for season 2. It is also highly anticipated due to a joint filming venture with wavve and MBC, and the location was held in Bali, Indonesia. WOW!
Now, Who Are the Participants?
Jin Young, aka DEX, is going to star again in season two. He was a big threat to the participants in season one due to his fierce, charismatic way of solving the games. He gained his popularity in season one of “Bloody Game” but not globally, until “Single Inferno 2” aired. He was the guy who came in the middle of “Inferno 2” and received almost all the girls’ love votes, making the rest of the men very jealous.
Then we have Park Ji Min, an announcer who went as high as the semi-final in season one, who is returning for this season.
Ha Seung Jin, a former basket player, also appears, and will raise high anticipations with fighting DEX.
Hong Jin Ho is a former e-sport gamer and a winner of the program “The Genius,” and is the guy that everyone is on the lookout for this season. Someone mentioned that when Jin Ho says the game might be over soon, he was always 99% right.
Then we have Hyun Sung Ju, who is a world-winning poker player. Everyone is so curious to know how he will play.
To stoke the competitive spirit, we have Yoon Bi, a very competitive person whose team are even afraid of what he will do.
A female participant, Kerrigan May, gained popularity from appearing on “Show Me the Money”.
Many people believe Japanese player FUJII MINA is the strongest player when one-on-one.
Xitsuh, from “Show Me the Money,” is a very talented rapper who is also very smart.
And for the rest,
we have bj Pi, KNUCKS, model Shin Hyun Ji, Lee Jin Hyung, who is a person attending the top school in Korea, and lastly YouTuber Yurisa.
This season, so many people are waiting to see how such a diverse group of people interact. It is rare to see this on a variety show, and the combination of all these strangers put into one place, to me, remains a big, exciting question mark.
