One thing that excites me the most as a huge fan of K-Dramas is the opportunity to watch a variety of genres starring my favorite actors and actresses. This is why my heart is so happy with all the recent K-dramas!

Let me share with you my current top four Korean dramas: “Numbers” starring Kim Myung Soo and Choi Jin Hyuk, “King The Land” featuring Lee Jun Ho and Lim Yoon A, “See You In My 19th Life” with Shin Hae Sun and Ahn Bo Hyun, and “Revenant” starring Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se. What makes them even more exciting is the fact that each one offers a unique viewing experience. Despite their differences, they are all incredibly engaging and captivating on their own!

Numbers

To all accountants and accounting students this is our time! Finally, an intriguing drama centered around the world of accounting! “Numbers” follows the journey of Jang Ho Woo, a high school graduate accountant who becomes the first and only one to join a prestigious Big 4 accounting firm in Korea. As he confronts absurd challenges and fights for justice, this drama takes us to an unconventional office drama.

Having watched the released episodes, I can assure you that “Numbers” breaks away from the typical office drama. Our main character defies expectations as he faces the discrimination of being a high school graduate accountant. However, his determination for revenge remains unyielding!

The initial episodes have skillfully set the stage for the plot, leaving us eagerly anticipating what will happen next. I must also mention that if you’re an accounting student, you’ll undoubtedly enjoy hearing all the accounting terms and jargon that are seamlessly woven into the drama. Finally, we can relate with medical students when they watch medical K-Dramas!

And also it stars our favorite idol-turned-actor Kim Myung Soo known for his memorable roles in K-Dramas like “Angel’s Last Mission: Love,” alongside the versatile Choi Jin Hyuk of “The Last Empress” and many other talented actors!

“King The Land”

Prepare yourself for a delightful romantic comedy that you simply cannot miss! Starring the charismatic Lee Jun Ho and the enchanting Lim Yoon A, “King The Land” revolves around the romance between a chaebol working as the head general manager of a hotel and a hotelier considered the best talent!

The pairing between these two is a feast for the eyes, and it’s easy to see why. Jun Ho and Yoon A complement each other so well, and their previous experience working together as MCs for two years at the “MBC Music Festival” only adds to their chemistry. We all crave a high-quality rom-com, and with the episodes released so far, this drama already provides us with the perfect blend of romance, comedy, bickering, and heart-fluttering moments we all yearn for!

Did you know that both leads in this drama began their careers as idols before transitioning into accomplished actors? Lee Jun Ho came from the popular boy group 2PM, while Yoon A is a member of the nation’s girl group Girls Generation! These two have successfully established themselves as talented idol-turned-actors, leaving an indelible mark in popular shows like “Prime Minister and I” and “Wok Of Love“!

“See You In My 19th Life”

This highly anticipated drama, based on a webtoon, has had fans eagerly awaiting its release since last year, and the time has finally come to watch it! “See You In My 19th Life,” tells the tale of a female protagonist with the extraordinary ability to remember all her past lives. Her quest is to reunite with the person who made her embrace life once again in her 18th life before her untimely death!

Reincarnation and fantastical plots never fail to captivate me, as they offer a fresh and unparalleled viewing experience. Moreover, this drama stars none other than the brilliant actress Shin Hae Sun, known for her iconic portrayals in dramas such as “My Golden Life” and “Still 17,” alongside the versatile actor Ahn Bo Hyun, who left a lasting impression on “Kairos“!

“Revenant”

Prepare for a departure from the dramas I mentioned above, as “Revenant” takes us on an occult mystery thriller journey. Starring the talented Kim Tae Ri and the seasoned actor Oh Jung Se, this drama revolves around a woman who becomes possessed by an evil spirit and a folklore professor who possesses the ability to see it. Together, they embark on a quest to unravel the truth behind the mysterious deaths surrounding them!

This drama sent shivers down my spine due to its mysterious and horror-infused ambiance. Witnessing Kim Tae Ri’s transformation from her bubbly character in “2521” and her composed role in “Little Forest” is truly remarkable. “Revenant” also showcases the acting prowess of Oh Jung Se, known for his exceptional performance in “Stove League,” alongside Hong Kyung of “Weak Hero Class 1“!

See, I told you! All these recent K-Dramas are so so good and you really need to watch each of them as soon as possible. If you’re wondering where to start among the four, I highly suggest diving into “Numbers,” which you can enjoy on KOCOWA+!
