Rain and Lee Hyori are really taking part in Yu Jae-Seok‘s upcoming summer co-ed group! On the May 30 episode of “How Do You Play,” Yu Jae-Seok finally invites them to join his co-ed group officially, and the three superstars further discussed if they should get a few more singers to join them.

While the three were at it, four guests–Block B’s Zico, Kwanghee, Simon Dominic, and Code Kunst, joined the show as potential candidates for the co-ed group. Block B’s Zico expressed that he is a huge fan of Lee Hyori, and that he cleared out his schedule just to see her. He talked about watching her performance at the 2013 Gayo Daejeon and how it left a memorable impression on him.

Yu Jae-Seok mentioned that Lee Hyori wanted a male rapper. Knowing that he doesn’t stand a chance against the Zico, Kwanghee showed his eagerness to join the co-ed group by saying he could work as an errand boy. To win the hearts of the three top stars who are already part of the co-ed group, Kwanghee brought up the fact that he has prepared a dance cover of Rain‘s “Gang.”

Kwanghee was praised, but the trio quickly became interested to see Zico’s version of “Gang” and Rain personally taught him the dance moves–which evoked Kwanghee’s jealousy. Things became more hilarious when the production team turned on the spotlight for Zico when they didn’t for Kwanghee. Kwanghee was taken aback and went, “What’s up with the lights?”

Simon Dominic and Code Kunst joined the show only later. When the guests were asked to compare rap in the present day and in the ’90s, Simon Dominic started with, “The trend in today’s rap is called mumble.” He carried on with, “Back in the ’90s, the rappers were very articulate in lyrics. They were very powerful too.”

Zico chipped in and commented, “In the past, rappers would rap at a higher pitch.” At that very moment, the production team realized that Kwanghee became really quiet and wrote him a cute, encouraging message. The message reads, “Kwanghee, you should say something~ (Fighting^^)”

As the others asked why he’s still quiet, Yu Jae-Seok explained that he is easily intimidated in front of celebrities. In which, Kwanghee finally spoke, “Can I go? I think I’ve done my share. I’m not going to be a member anyway.” He showed the huge bruise on his arm that he got from practicing Rain‘s “Gang” and continued, “I’m tired. I should see a doctor.”

Later, Yu Jae-Seok moved on to ask if Simon Dominic and Code Kunst had prepared anything before coming, adding that Kwanghee and Zico had already danced to Rain‘s “Gang.”

The two revealed that they had prepared a remix version of Rain‘s “Gang” together the night before.
