Millions of BTS fans worldwide are disappointed that the popular group had to postpone their tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. But if you know anything about the Bangtan Boys, it’s that they would never put their fans at risk. Ticketholders will be able to see them when the tour is rescheduled.

BTS is doing everything in their power to keep fans happy. This coming weekend, they will be airing previous concerts, fan meets and other treats for ARMY on their official YouTube channel. The festivities will start at 12 p.m. KST on both April 18 and April 19. (That translates to 10 p.m. CDT on April 17 and 18 in Chicago, but be sure to check what the time is in your local area.)

But if you’re looking for fun BTS-related things to watch while we’re waiting for Bang Bang Con to start, KOCOWA has you covered with some of our favorite BTS appearances:

Are you in the mood for some music? BTS has appeared on “Music Bank,” “Show Music Core” and “KPOP World Festival.” But one of my favorite performances is on Episode 972 of “Inkigayo,” where BTS performs a pitch-perfect version of “I’m Fine.” The guys just look so exuberant and happy to be there.

RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook also appeared on “Star Show 360.” Hosted by Tak Jae-Hoon and Super Junior’s Leeteuk, the series devoted 80 minutes to the group’s shenanigans. Like what, you ask? Like Jungkook and J-Hope dancing on demand when asked to imitate choreography performed by girl groups. Trust me when I say that you have to see it to believe it.

Running Man” (Episodes 265 300)
RM had appeared without the rest of the group on Episode 265 of “Running Man.” That episode was devoted to idols renowned for their brain power and RM literally is a genius. The entire group appeared in Episode 300. Their mission was to go against the cast members to see who could stack the most boxes of ramen onto their respective trucks. The winners would have the honor of donating all the food to charity. Can you guess who won? It won’t be surprising if I tell you that both teams cheated. For many BTS fans, though, their favorite moment was when Kim Jong-Kook (aka Sparta!) manhandled some of the guys to prevent them from cheating and inadvertently lifted up JK’s shirt!

Idol Star Athletics Championships

Many idols are friends with one another. After all, who aside from their own bandmates know the demands of their career?  On “Idol Star Athletics Championships,” fans get to watch their favorites compete against each other not on the music charts, but in the sports arena. At this meetup, BTS competed to win their third consecutive gold medal in the 400m relay. I knew Jungkook would be their strongest and fastest competitor, but keep an eye out for Jimin,  J-Hope and Suga, too!

Law of the Jungle” (Episodes 247248, 249250251)

Jin’s a natural comic, which shouldn’t be surprising to fans of his Dad Jokes. He appeared on five episodes of “Law of the Jungle” and was praised for his showmanship. He acknowledges that he gets easily scared and plays it up for laughs. But if you were to get trapped on a deserted island with anyone, Jin would help you survive. He not only caught, prepared and cooked food for his castmates, but he also brought ARMY bombs that they used as flashlights. InJINious!

The King Of Mask Singer

Jungkook wowed “The King Of Mask Singer” judges with his pitch-perfect version of Big Bang’s “If You.” BTS’ golden maknae didn’t win the overall title, but he charmed the judges with his maturity and spot-on vocals. “I came on the show, because I wanted to have a coming-of-age ceremony,” he said at the time. “I’m still really lacking vocally. I’ll continue to grow and become a singer that melts hearts.”

And if you want to get started on a K-Drama and show your BTS love, then you must watch “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth.” Kim Tae-Hyung (V) had a pivotal role that showed off his acting skills. I’ll be honest: As much as I love BTS, I wasn’t sure whether he could hold his own against powerhouses such as Park Seo-Joon and veteran actor (and one of my favorites) Sung Dong-Il. I shouldn’t have had doubts. V did beautifully and showed off depth beyond his 20 years. The cast was super fun as well and included his friends Park Hyung-Sik and Choi Min-Ho.

KOCOWA has curated a special section specifically for ARMY. If you’re not already a subscriber, now’s the perfect time to try the free two-week trial (no ads!) and watch the subtitled BTS content. Enjoy!
