Everything That Happened in “Our Golden Days” Episodes 27 and 28

Here are the highlights of episodes 27 & 28 of “Our G o lden Days” starring Jung Il Woo, Jung In Sun, and Yoon Hyun Min.

Seong Hee seemed full of questions for Eun Oh, and after such a shocking revelation, Eun Oh still couldn’t wrap her head around what was happening. Even in her confusion, she couldn’t help but worry about Seong Hee and the strange coincidences surrounding her. She told her friend everything, but no one believed it could be true.
Seong Hee showed up at the police station wearing light clothing despite the cold winter weather, saying it was the same outfit she wore the day she lost her daughter. Eun Oh felt even more sympathy for her, believing it showed what a good person Seong Hee was. But the truth was far from that, Seong Hee had deliberately worn that outfit to gain pity.

Meanwhile, Su Bin planned a romantic picnic with Seong Jae, preparing a thoughtful homemade lunchbox because she knew he’d never had one before. Seong Jae was touched but also a little uneasy, after all, Su Bin was his best friend’s younger sister. Though he didn’t have romantic feelings for her, something about their relationship started to feel slightly different.

While Ji Wan and Yeong Ra were on their secret date, they found out Seong Hee was heading to Yeong Ra’s gallery. Yeong Ra ran back to the office, pretending she’d been painting all along. Seong Hee scolded her for ignoring the calls from her family-arranged suitor and told her to get ready for the wedding.

Ji Hyuk was deeply disappointed when his investment funds were suddenly pulled, crushing his plans to acquire a company that could have marked a huge milestone for his business. But instead of sulking, he decided to face it head-on and meet with the CEO of AP Group himself.
Seong Jae, who was once seen as the weak link in the family, worked tirelessly to prove his father wrong. His efforts paid off when he was promoted to vice president. When Seong Hee heard the news, she was furious, Seong Jae’s rise meant fewer chances for her biological son, Woo Jin, to inherit the company.
Later, when Seong Hee met Eun Oh again, she staged a fake phone call about her son’s liver donor backing out, intentionally dramatizing it so Eun Oh would overhear. After dropping Eun Oh off, her adoptive mother saw the two together, and later discovered a text message on Eun Oh’s phone implying that Seong Hee was her biological mother. Heartbroken, she burst into tears, misunderstanding that Eun Oh had been searching for her real mother all along.

Eun Oh couldn’t stop thinking about what Seong Hee had said about her twin brother needing a liver donor. Out of concern, she told Seong Hee she would get a checkup to see if she was a match.
Meanwhile, Ji Hyuk pushed harder than ever to secure investment from AP Group, but things didn’t go as smoothly as he hoped. Su Bin kept spending more time with Seong Jae, trying to win his heart.
Eventually, Ji Hyuk received the call he had been waiting for, AP Group decided to move forward with the investment. Overjoyed, he and his team celebrated the good news. But amid the celebration, Eun Oh looked worried. When Ji Hyuk asked what was wrong, she told him she had just met her biological mother and found out her brother was ill. She had even undergone a liver check to see if she could help. The shock of learning everything at once left her emotionally drained. Ji Hyuk, ever the rational one, grew suspicious. Everything happening around Eun Oh felt too coincidental. He gently asked how much she really knew about her biological mother. His question left Eun Oh anxious and doubtful.

Yeong Ra discovers that her mother, Seong Hee, has been sneaking around without telling anyone. Convinced that her mother might be having an affair, she decides to find out the truth herself.
Meanwhile, Ji Hyuk continues to question the real intentions of Eun Oh’s biological mother, because the number of coincidences surrounding her story is just too hard to ignore.
