As the video gains traction, public opinion swings sharply in her favor, and backlash against ShoeJoy, the company Jin Seok owns, explodes. But when Jin Seok finally calls her, Seong Hee’s world turns upside down. She had claimed that her husband, Jin Seok Park, secretly placed mortgages on her properties and left her with nothing after kicking her out. Jin Seok publicly refutes her story, stating that the mortgages were filed under a namesake, another Jin Seok Park, and insists it was not him plus, he has nothing to do with it. Jin Seok shows up, intentionally asks for Seong Hee to serve him, and watches her reaction. The moment she sees him, her rage boils over. Jin Seok wonders what scheme she’s plotting by returning to that same restaurant. After taking his order, Seong Hee storms out and quits on the spot. Shortly after, she receives a message from her son Woo Jin, who has been unreachable until now, telling her he’s leaving the country. Seong Hee completely breaks down, overwhelmed by despair.
