“I love you.”

In K-Dramas, there are a lot of ways to express your love for someone and one of those is through confessions! I really love how K-Dramas build up the couple’s relationship first and give us the sweetest confessions after.

There are a lot of beautiful, meaningful, and touching confessions in K-Dramas, and now let’s get to know which dramas they came from!

Youth of May

First on the list of best K-Drama confessions is from “Youth of May‘s” Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) and Kim Myeong Hee (Go Min Si). Set in 1980, we saw how their love blossomed in the backdrop of the Gwangju Uprising. I can never forget their timeless love story.

I’m more afraid of how much it’ll hurt after this month is gone. I like you and I’ll only continue to like you more and more. Kim Myeong Hee do you want to go out with me just until the end of May?

Hwang Hee Tae

No, I’m not okay. I don’t want this May to pass by without you.

Kim Myeong Hee

Hee Tae and Myung Hee’s love might have started and ended in May 1980 but their love for each other will definitely last for a lifetime. A beautiful yet painful love.

Into The Ring

Speaking of confessions, “Into The Ring,” one of the best romantic comedy series, also has the sweetest and most beautiful confession. Goo Se Ra (Nana) and Seo Gong Myung (Park Sung Hoon) were in a heated argument, which made Gong Myung confess his love for Se Ra!

“I did it because it was you. Your hideout, the dumplings, the relay. Because it was you. I’m saying It was about you Goo Se Ra. It was you from the start.

Seo Gong Myung

The way Gong Myung explained that the reason he’s been doing all those silly stuff he hates is that he likes Se Ra so much that he’s willing to do anything! Where to find a guy like him?

“Run On”

Probably the sweetest and best confession I have seen from a K-Drama is from Ki Seon Gyeom (Im Si Wan) to Oh Mi Joo (Shin Sae Kyeong) of the romance drama “Run On.” We all deserve the kind of love which completes us as a person and makes us feel better.

Your affection for me gives me meaning and values. But I wasn’t sure if you had feelings for me the same way I do about you. I wonder if you also want to hold my hand, hug me and kiss me. Because I do.

Ki Seon Gyeom

Seon Gyeom really raised the bar too high for the purest confession in K-Dramas. The confession is simple yet so meaningful and heart-touching!

to. Jenny

A different kind of K-Drama confession that touches my heart is from Jeong Min (Kim Sung Cheol) of the music romance “to. Jenny“. Jeong Min uses a song to express all of his feelings for Na Ra (Jung Chae Yeon).

I have to tell you, I have to tell you now. Before everything about you fades away. I’ll sing my song to you now. I’ll stand right here and sing it to you. To you.

Jeong Min

Really a heart-touching confession. He expresses all his love and emotions for his first love through music.

Angel’s Last Mission: Love

A sad yet touching confession is from Kim Dan (Kim Myung Soo) to Lee Yeon Seo (Shin Hae Sun) of the fantasy romance “Angel’s Last Mission: Love.” Since it’s a forbidden love between an angel and a human, the two are stuck in a difficult position.

It’s my last wish, I want to give my last breath to you. I loved you. I love you. And I’ll keep loving you.

Kim Dan

The two really proved that they can fight against all odds for their love!

I Am Not a Robot

A beautiful confession to reunite with her loved one is from Jo Ji A (Chae Soo Bin) to Kim Min Kyu (Yoo Seung Ho) in the romantic comedy “I Am Not a Robot.” The two met in a situation where Ji A had to lie about her real identity and luckily they cleared it up with this confession!

The one who gave me the love I ever wanted was you. The one whom I miss everyday is you. It’s not because you need me. I really need you. It’s because you’re the one I’ve been looking and waiting for all my life.

Jo Ji A

Dr. Romantic 2

Another kind of confession that is better than I love you is assurance that you will always be there for that person, just like how Woo Jin (Ahn Hyo Seop) of “Dr. Romantic 2” assured Eun Jae (Lee Sung Kyoung) during the operation that she can rely on him in her dark times.

This is my way of telling you not to be afraid. Whether you get a panic attack, run out after vomiting or pass out. I’ll back you up.

Woo Jin

“Twenty Five Twenty One”

My favorite kind of K-Drama confessions are those that are pure, unconditional, and bring the best to each other. Baek Yi Jin’s (Nam Joo Hyuk) confession to Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri) is so wholesome. He didn’t ask her to feel the same way because love is simply giving, and they found a home within each other.

You always lead me to do what’s right and to a good place. I love you, Na Heedo. I don’t need a rainbow.

Baek Yi Jin

It’s no doubt that K-Dramas really are the best in love confessions! I smile whenever I think about them and I hope that we can experience a love like the ones we watch in K-Dramas on KOCOWA!
