Goodbye, Jeon So Min

On the 30th, Jeon So Min will proceed with the final recording of the SBS variety show “Running Man.” After joining the show in April 2017, she is saying a farewell goodbye after being on the program for more than six years. Her agency, King Kong by Starship, stated, “After lengthy discussions with the ‘Running Man’ members and production team, it was decided that she needs some time to recharge. We express our gratitude to the viewers who have been running alongside Jeon So Min, and we ask for your continued support in the future.”

“Running Man” is South Korea’s longest-airing variety show, having premiered in July 2010, and is now in its 13th year. While maintaining TV ratings in the 3-4% range (Nielsen Korea nationwide standard), it boasts a strong international fandom.

The show airs every Sunday at 6:20 PM and you can watch it with English subtitles on KOCOWA+.

The former professional basketball player nearly made Kim Jong-Kook fail his “Try Not to Laugh” challenge by imitating Lee Kwang-Soo‘s iconic “Mosquito Song” from the sitcom “High Kick Through the Roof.”

His surprise appearance also made Kwang-Soo fail the challenge instantly–Kwang-Soo had endured multiple tough trials but collapsed at the sight of Han Ki-Beom. That’s just how dangerous Han Ki-Beom is when it comes to the “Try Not to Laugh” challenge.

Hyuna (Episode 476)

Sihyeon is from a rookie idol group named EVERGLOW and she was eager to appeal to everyone by mimicking the sound of a siren. Unfortunately, it just didn’t work out well. The veteran idol Hyuna saw through her efforts immediately and ended the awkward atmosphere quickly with her straightforward, yet hilarious comment, “I used to work so hard on things that won’t work too.”

Hollywood Actors Ryan Reynolds, Mélanie Laurent, Adria Arjona (Episode 482)

The Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds, Mélanie Laurent, and Adria Arjona played Korean games and tried Korean food with the members of this episode. The actors were really enthusiastic when they played the games, making them one of the most memorable appearances made on “Running Man.”
