When it comes to K-Dramas, have you ever seen a couple that made you say, “They’ll always come back to each other, no matter what?” It doesn’t matter whether they are childhood friends, workmates, or have just met; there’s something about them that makes you think, “Yes, they really are destined to be together!”

I have always been a fan of K-Drama couples because they literally set the standard in every relationship I have seen. Without further ado, let’s meet our favorite soulmate K-Drama couples!

The Law Cafe” Couple

The bond between Jung Ho and Yu Ri in “The Law Cafe” is unlike any other K-drama couple I’ve seen. These two have a relationship that spans over 17 years since they first met as high school classmates back then. Their romance fell apart while they were both in law school, but love conquers all, right?

Fast forward, they are now living as landlords and tenants and Yu Ri has finally reciprocated her feelings back. They’ve been through so much together; it’s clear they’re meant to be!

It’s Okay, That’s Love” Couple

That unwavering love that sticks around no matter how rough things get? In “It’s Okay, That’s Love” Jae Yeol and Hae Soo showed this to be true. These two have always been my favorite couple because they have shown the meaning of real love by standing by each other through thick and thin.

This is part of my must-watch drama list because it is ahead of its time that tackles mental health issues and not to mention, Zo In Sung and Kong Hyo Jin’s chemistry is one of the best I have seen.

Youth of May” Couple

Soulmates aren’t measured in years spent together, and the “Youth Of May” couple is proof of that. While Hee Tae and Myung Hee’s time together was brief, it changed their life forever. These two are great examples of timeless love stories that showed us what great love is. I don’t want to go into detail anymore because I might spoil those who haven’t watched it yet, but my advice is to prepare some tissues!

Do You Like Brahms?” Couple

Do You Like Brahms?” Song Ah and Joon Young proved that an introverted duo can be just as engaging as the extroverted leads we’re used to seeing in K-Dramas. These two don’t have any flashy background like having a childhood connection, but they showed us the perfect strangers to friends to lovers trope. A warm and beautiful couple that can make us feel what the meaning of love is.

Young Lady and Gentleman” Couple

It’s not common that we see a widowed husband with 3 kids and a single woman as a couple in K-Dramas, which makes Young Guk and Dan Dan of “Young Lady and Gentleman” a lot more special. In here, we see how the female lead didn’t just capture the heart of the father but also his cute children. Even though they aren’t each other’s first love, they are each other’s last love.

Come and Hug Me” Couple

Despite their sad past and the fact that they were doomed to be star-crossed lovers, Do Jin and Jae Yi of “Come and Hug Me” have found their way back to one another after all these years. They proved that they can overcome any struggles as long as they are on each other’s side, and I think that’s beautiful. They are part of my must-protect couple who deserve every happiness after everything they have been to.

Go Back Couple

Jin Joo and Ban Do of “Go Back Couple” are the definition of a soulmate couple: they’re a married couple who are given a chance to redo their life so they won’t get married again, but in the end, they realize they can’t live without each other. I appreciated how this drama dealt with issues of everyday life and marriage.

Fight For My Way” Couple

I know I’m not the only one who’s a huge fan of the friends to lovers trope. Dong Man and Ae Ra of “Fight For My Way” showed us how to do this trope right. They have experienced every milestone in their life together and they also rely on each other a lot. That speaks volumes for their relationship because they are each other’s solace.

Angel’s Last Mission: Love” Couple

The couple who are destined to meet no matter what. “Angel’s Last Mission: Love” is actually amazing with how they introduced us to this couple who doesn’t know anything but to bicker and banter, it turns out they have a much deeper connection through their destiny and now, they are willing to die for each other.

Once Again” Couple

If you get a divorce, your marriage officially ends. But in the case of “Once Again‘s” Na Hee and Gyu Jin, things are quite the contrary. Na Hee and Gyu Jin are college sweethearts who eventually tied the knot. Their marriage ended in a break, but it doesn’t mean their story ended because they realized that life would be meaningful without each other. Now, they are happily married (again) with kids.

“Crash Landing On You”

Se Ri and Jeong Hyuk are literally star-crossed lovers who shouldn’t have crossed paths, and it seems like the whole world is against them, but it doesn’t stop the two from being together. Knowing their histories and the reasons they can’t be together, I found it very touching to watch a North Korean soldier and a South Korean CEO fall in love despite the odds. They proved to us that they will stick together through thick and thin.

Now, who are your favorite K-Drama soulmates? Let’s watch all of them on KOCOWA!
