Some people are born to be good moms and dads, and we are really seeing some of those traits in a few idols.
Here are some idols that we’ve noticed have huge potential to be great parents in the future!
EXO’s Kai
EXO’s Kai adores his niece and nephew so much that he posts photos of them on his Instagram often. He also shows how good he is with babies on variety shows. He joined the variety show “The Return of Superman” along with EXO’s Chanyeol, and two babies Na-Eun and Gun-Hoo were left in their care. Both of them were able to get close to the babies quickly, but Gun-Hoo was able to fall asleep in Kai’s arms in just minutes.
Chanyeol even got envious of Kai getting so close to Na-Eun when the 4 were eating at a restaurant together. Kai and Na-Eun started having fun on their own, leaving Chanyeol and Gun-Hoo out. They had so much fun that it made Chanyeol ask, “When did you two get so close?”
SHINee’s Minho
As part of SM’s “Passion Group” along with TVXQ’s Yunho, EXO’s Suho, and others, SHINee’s Minho is also a hard worker who is extremely ambitious. Once he sets his goal on something, he won’t stop until he reaches it. That might probably explain why he’s good with kids too–because he always does his best. But the soft side of Minho melts hearts. Minho gently picks up babies when they are getting on the escalator and collapses to the ground when the babies are being too adorable for him to handle.
Lee Seung-Gi
It might seem obvious that Lee Seung-Gi does not have any experience in babysitting, but we know for sure that he’s always trying. The idol-turned-actor joined the variety show “Little Forest” where he ran a childcare center in the woods with 3 other celebrities, and he has done relatively well… despite a few cute blunders. Here’s one of it–he tried applying sunscreen for a little girl but turned her entire face white because there was too much on her face. As soon as he realized his mistake, he started smiling and went on about how adorable she is.
Seung-Gi has already shown potential from the first episode of “Little Forest.” He was slightly taken aback when Jung So-Min handed a baby over to him and left to do something else. He didn’t know what to do when the baby started crying, but surprisingly, Seung-Gi still managed to put the baby to sleep within minutes by singing a soothing lullaby.
Sunmi
As soon as Sunmi met Seungjae on “The Return of Superman,” she made him happy by showering him with gifts that he had always wanted. She was also all smiles while staring at the boy the entire time and melted right away when Seungjae called her an angel bashfully. The child was won over by her too quickly that he willingly fed her ice-cream and refused to feed his father some too!
Red Velvet‘s Yeri
The moment Red Velvet‘s Yeri saw the three babies Seola, SuA and Daebak, she ran over and swept one up swiftly. For a few good seconds, she stared right into the baby’s eyes with so much adoration. When Seola was trying to do a split during their dance lesson later, Yeri grabbed her arm instantly as Seola tried to get into position, worrying that the baby might hurt herself. And when Seola succeeded easily and Yeri praised her with a warm voice, “Are you just naturally talented, Seola?”
