Where Did Kim So Hyun Get Her Start

Our beloved Kim JoJo from “Love Alarm” has been acting since 2006. Kim So Hyun began her entertainment career as a child star in the “Drama City” episode titled “Ten Minute, Minor.” She continued her profession with minor roles in “A Happy Woman,” “Korean Ghost Stories-2008,” “Ja Myung Go,” “Bread, Love and Dreams,” The Duo,” “The Thorn Birds,” “Padam Padam” and a host of others. This carried on until her big break as the teenage version of character Yoon Bo Kyung in “The Moon That Embraces the Sun.”

For the next five years, the award-winning actor remained a supporting member of the cast with much more prominence in the K-dramas “Rooftop Prince,” “IRIS 2,” “I Hear Your Voice,” “The Suspicious Housekeeper,” “The Girl Who Sees Smells,“Page Turner” and more. “Who Are You” represented her first leading role and paved the way for “Nightmare High,” “Bring It On, Ghost,” “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” and even a cameo in episode 16 of “While You Were Sleeping.”  For variety programming, she was a contestant on episode one of JTBC’s “100 People, 100 Songs” and the main star of Lifetime Korea’s travel program “Because This Is My First Twenty.”
