“Live Your Own Life” Episode 12 & 13 Recap:

Hyo Sim carefully takes Tae Ho to his place and there he meets with Tae Min. Tae Min is very irritated with the situation, seeing his crush having a drink with his cousin is not something he wants to experience. Tae Min frustrately expresses why she won’t have dinner with him. He asks if she has feelings for Tae Ho.

The next day, Tae Min firmly asks Tae Ho to watch his actions when drinking and to always be cautious of his dignity and class. Tae Ho scoffs and tells him that their relationship is now over after Tae Min coarsely takes the remaining wrecked car that Tae Ho had kept for many years after his parent’s death. And Tae Ho will no longer take any advice from Tae Min.

Tae Ho asks Hyo Sim out for lunch after he feels terrible about leaving Hyo Sim when they are both very drunk. Hyo Sim enjoys her lunch which makes Tae Ho happy. Then, all of a sudden, Tae Ho gets a call from someone who says that they found his long-lost grandmother. Tae Ho rushes to a mortuary, where he is told his grandmother’s body is. When he gets there, Tae Min visits and checks the belongings of the person and identifies the ring and necklace as his grandmother’s.

However, Tae Ho is in strong denial about the death of his grandmother because he talked to her on the phone while he was in the States. He knows for a fact that there is a conspiracy going on and Tae Min seems too strange. Even though, Tae Min reassures him that the belonging proves the body relates to their grandmother’s. Tae Ho could not believe it and sobbed. On the other hand, Myung Hee, who is not dead, hears the surprising news that she is dead. She is stunned by this. Her company, Taesan Group, has already made its official announcement of her death and her replacement. Sook Hyang is putting on a show of being sad because, in reality, this is all she wanted her whole life, for Myung Hee to be gone and her husband to take the top position at Taesan Group.

Myung Hee’s neighbors are skeptical of the identity of Myung Hee after seeing someone so similar to her on the news. Some of her neighbors think it’s nonsense that a rich and well-off person would come to an impoverished neighborhood to live.
