“Live Your Own Life” Episode 20 & 21 Recap:
- Tae Ho decides to step back a little and stop making Hyo Sim uncomfortable with his feelings. When they go out for lunch, he makes sure the topic of the conversation is business and business only. Hyo Sim did so well at the launch of the fashion show, that Tae Ho’s brand decided to have Hyo Sim as the main model for three months, and she gladly accepted because she was in desperate need of money.
- Hyo Sung is furious when he finds out his younger sister Hyo Sim was the model at Tae Ho’s brand launching show because he does not trust Tae Ho or Tae Min. He tells Hyo Sim that the reason they had Hyo Sim as the model is because they must have an ulterior motive behind it. Hyo Sim reassures Hyo Sung that nothing bad will happen.
- Hyo Sim goes on a workshop with her fellow gym trainers and Tae Ho gives monetary gifts to them so they can use the money for the workshop. As a gratitude, the CEO of the gym asks Tae Ho to join them, and he counts himself right in because he knows Hyo Sim is going. And she does not seem to hate this idea that much.
- Myung Hee calls Sook Hyang on a pay phone, and Sook Hyang is beyond shocked to hear her voice. Sook Hyang threatens Myung Hee and says if she gets in the way of what Sook Hyang plans to do in the future with the Taesan Group, then Tae Ho will be in danger. Sook Hyang realizes that things might go South real quick if she doesn’t make a move first, and this means that Tae Min should get married to another chaebol family.
- Hyo Sim spends time relaxing at her workshop, but this is her first time being free from her mother. While Hyo Sim is at the workshop, her mother bothers her with countless phone calls asking her for minute things like “Where is the remote control.” Tae Ho sees how Hyo Sim’s mother is very codependent on Hyo Sim and feels bad for her. While they are going out for a walk, Tae Ho blatantly holds Hyo Sim’s hands.
- Tae Min finds out that Tae Ho went to the workshop with Hyo Sim even though Tae Ho has many different responsibilities to take care of before the winter launch. On top of that, Tae Min gets more annoyed because Hyo Sim is there with him.
