- Tae Ho finds himself arrested for embezzlement within his company, leaving him no opportunity to explain the situation to Hyo Sim. She discovers the news online and hurries to the company, seeking answers from her brother, Hyo Sung.
- Meanwhile, Sook Hyang revels in Tae Ho’s arrest, having orchestrated it through numerous bribes to remove any obstacles to her sinister plans.
- As Tae Ho faces imprisonment, Mr. Yeom warns Hyo Sung to maintain a low profile or else he will be at risk of being Tae Ho’s new cellmate.
- Amidst the turmoil, Sun Soon’s café enjoys immediate success from its very first day.
- Hyo Do, visiting Tae Min to introduce himself properly as a brother-in-law, also seeks a position within Tae San Group. Tae Min, unaware of his sister Tae Hee’s marriage, reacts with disbelief and forces Hyo Do out. However, a confrontation with Tae Hee reveals shocking family secrets. Tae Hee lets out all her frustration about how naive her brother Tae Min can be all this time and tells him that their grandmother Myung Hee is alive. Tae Hee expresses how she is terrified of her mother Sook Hyang and what she is capable of doing. So she begs Tae Ho to just let Tae Hee live a normal life with Hyo Do.

- During interrogation, Tae Ho surprises investigators by revealing Tae San Group’s internal secrets, choosing arrest as an opportunity to expose the truth.
- Hyo Sim visits Tae Ho, and amidst tears, he proposes in an unorthodox yet heartfelt manner, also disclosing Myung Hee’s true identity as his grandmother.
- Tae Min uncovers the conspiracies of Sook Hyang and Mr. Yeom, issuing a warning to his mother to rectify the situation. Racing to meet Myung Hee, their unexpected encounter leaves her stunned.”
