I Am Ground

I Am Ground” is a variety show with a unique concept where the cast members undertake a mission to make international friends by participating in K-games while traveling abroad. Despite encountering language barriers, the eldest member, Lee Sang Yeob, assumes the role of a caring figure, delving into Greek history to guide his younger companions. Social butterfly Hwang Kwang Hee showcases the art of making friends both domestically and internationally.

Kim Min Gue, recognized for his soft visuals and straightforwardness, surprises with unexpected charms as the global beauty with dimples. The youngest member, Son Dong Pyo, radiates vibrant energy and claims the role of the energetic one in the group, influencing the older members. Together, they aim to overcome language barriers and befriend strangers in a foreign city through the playful world of K-games, inviting everyone to join them in shouting “I Am Ground” in Greece.

Lee Sang Yeob, Kwang Hee, Kim Min Gue, and MIRAE’s Son Dong Pyo traveled to Athens, Greece, to film the show last November, and it is set to premiere on January 23, 2024, on KOCOWA+! With such an entertaining cast lineup, viewers can expect a laughter-filled experience throughout the show.

Meet the Casts

Lee Sang Yeob, known as one of the most versatile actors today, has showcased his skills as both a villain (“While You Were Sleeping“) and a male lead (“My Lovely Boxer“). His humorous personality, as seen in multiple guest appearances on “Running Man” and as a cast member of “Sixth Sense,” makes him a perfect fit for a variety show. Kwang Hee, a former idol now active as an entertainer, is celebrated for his funny and witty remarks. He has been a regular member of various variety shows like “Law of the Jungle,” “Infinite Challenge,” and serves as the MC of the idol program “Weekly Idol.”

Kim Min Gue, a rising actor who gained fame through the popular SBS rom-com “Business Proposal,” is also making a mark as a variety star, having been a regular member of the dating variety show “Love Me Actually.” Completing the cast lineup, MIRAE’s Son Dong Pyo, the youngest member, is known for his cute charms and lovable personality, adding an extra layer of charm to the already impressive lineup!
