THE PENTHOUSE 2 EPISODE 3

In Episode 3 we start with Seo Jin’s reaction to Yoon Hee being the lip-syncing woman. Seo Jin cannot believe it. How did she know!? This shakes Seo Jin to her core throughout the entire episode because Seo Jin already has an inferiority complex about her voice not being as strong or as beautiful as Yoon Hee’s.

This matter is made worse when Yoon Hee goes to Seo Jin’s fan signing and their Cheong A Arts High School reunion. At the reunion she reminisces with all their old friends about their rivalry. Seo Jin overhears the ladies ask Yoon Hee if Seo Jin was the one that actually cut her throat all those years ago because that is what everyone believes. Yoon Hee politely declines to answer, but the mental damage has already been done to Seo Jin.

All of this stress causes Seo Jin to act strangely around Dan Tae which causes Dan Tae to wonder just what is going on with his fiance. Through a bit of coercion with Seo Jin’s manager, Dan Tae finds out that Yoon Hee sang Seo Jin’s part at the gala. He is actually happy to know this is her weakness because it can better help him control her and her foundation. However, Yoon Chul is still around which makes Dan Tae grow more and more jealous of Yoon Chul, his business, and his new found fortune.

Meanwhile, while Ro Na was living abroad in America, her mother confessed to her that she accidentally killed Min Seol Ah. Ro Na cannot take that guilt and decides, against her mother’s wishes, to secretly come back to Korea and enroll in the Cheong A Arts High School again. She wants to win the coveted singing trophy. While that is an admirable goal, Ro Na setting foot at Cheong A Arts leads, once again, to plenty of bully incidences in the high school. Though this time Ro Na sees that Jenny is the new main target of bullying.

However, it appears that Ro Na’s life at the high school is about to be just as miserable as before because Eun Byul is in love with Seok Hoon and has been spending more time with him. Yet Seok Hoon appears to still be in love with Bae Ro Na. Cue Eun Byul’s cheerleading voice: Oh heck no! Bae Ro Na has gots to go!

THE PENTHOUSE 2 EPISODE 4

Now that Ro Na is back at the high school, she has to withstand relentless bullying by the Hera Palace students once again. But she does not hang her head in defeat, she sticks up for herself and also sticks up for Jenny.

However, before an important singing qualifier, the Hera kids pour paint on Ro Na and lock her and Jenny in a bathroom so that they cannot compete in the qualifying round for the singing competition. This disqualifies them both.

Ro Na and her mother tell the school that this was a bullying incident! Though, of course, all the members of the committee are the parents of the bullies, so they don’t believe her (and they also don’t really care). They end up saying that Ro Na is the one who orchestrated everything in order to pass the qualifying exam which, yes, is a crazy accusation.

But Jenny comes in and confirms the bullying which makes Kang Ma Ri, Jenny’s mother, do a 180 and sympathize with Yoon Hee and Ro Na. Once Kang Ma Ri finds out just how much bullying her daughter had to endure (enough to make her hair fall out from the stress of it all!) she tearfully and profusely apologizes to Yoon Hee, and is fully on Yoon Hee’s side now.

Yoon Hee has video evidence of the paint incident and tells the school that she is going to get the district to investigate it. To stop the school district from investigating the violentschool incident, Seo Jin blames everything on Joo Suk Kyung who was, unluckily, the only student caught in the video. Suk Kyung is banned from competing in the competition.

This enrages Seok Kyung because she is the only one taking the fall for everyone! Why can’t she bully whomever she wants in peace and be rewarded for it! It is such an unfair world! Also, watch out world because Seok Kyung is enraged and we all know how crazy she is even on a regular day.

While at school, Seok Kyung happens upon Eun Byul’s phone which Eun Byul accidentally dropped on the floor. Seo Kyung figures out the password image and sees a video Eun Byul took of Seo Jin’s father falling down the steps and Seo Jin leaving him there to die. Jackpot.

Joo Seok Kyung threatens Chun Seo Jin with this knowledge and tells her that if she doesn’t give her the Grand prize, then she will tell everyone what really happened that night…
