“The Penthouse” Ratings Hit an Incredible High at 13.9%!

The new K-drama, “The Penthouse” has quickly become one of my favorite TV shows  so far in 2020. And it looks like everyone else is enjoying it too, despite a few criticisms about some of the ‘disturbing’ storylines! “The Penthouse” has already had TV ratings success with a 13.9% Nielsen rating. Only 4 episodes have  aired and it already has me hooked. I’ll be sitting on the edge of my seat for all 3 seasons. In case you haven’t heard, “The Penthouse” has already secured three seasons which is very rare in the world of K-dramas! So bring on the competition, deceit, and affairs! 

If you haven’t given “The Penthouse” a chance, stream it today! “The Penthouse” resembles all the ‘makjang’ elements from the popular Korean dramas  “SKYCASTLE” and “The World of The Married.”

This satire intends to shed light on the dichotomy between the elite and the working class, and the power struggles to remain at the top. The lines quickly become blurred between the upper crest and blue-collar when both show they will do anything to make sure their children will have it all.

“Kairos,” a MBC drama on the same air dates as “The Penthouse,” recorded ratings of 3.5%. This is another new K-drama that you should not miss out on. A fantasy thriller about a man from the future searching for his abducted daughter, and a girl from the past who is looking for her missing mother.
