New stills of the drama “Kairos” are released!
“Kairos” is a fantasy thriller series where two characters are able to communicate with each other even though they live a month apart. Taking advantage of the time difference, the two go on a journey helping each other uncover mysteries about their loved ones. Kim Seo Jin (Shin Sung Rok) franticly searches for his daughter who has been kidnapped, while Han Ae Ri’s (Lee Se Young) mother goes missing without leaving a trace. They were complete strangers before everything happened, but oddly enough, now their lives seem to be intertwined in many ways.
In the earlier episodes, Kim Seo Jin’s daughter Kim Da Bin (Shim Hye Yeon) suddenly went missing during a charity concert, and his wife Kang Hyun Chae (Nam Gyu Ri) committed suicide when she couldn’t live without Kim Da Bin.
Soon after, Kim Jin Ho (Ko Kyu Pil) was detained after confessing he was the one who kidnapped Kim Da Bin. He claimed he did it in an attempt to avenge his daughter, who lost her life because Yoojun Construction, the company for which Kim Jin Ho works, used illegal materials on their buildings. The building they built caught fire, causing his daughter to suffer from inhalation injuries and die. It was revealed that Kim Jin Ho thought Kim Seo Jin was responsible for his daughter’s death, and therefore, abducted his daughter, Kim Da Bin.
The same night that Han Ae Ri decided to go to Kim Jin Ho’s place after Kim Seo Jin told her about him, Kim Seo Jin found out about the plan to kill her at his place. Just as Kim Jin Ho opened the door to Han Ae Ri, she saw a suspicious man hiding behind the wall. Han Ae Ri eventually managed to escape from Kim Jin Ho and the suspicious man thanks to her friend, Im Gun Wook (Kang Seung Yoon), who arrived just in time to save her. The suspicious man, who’s very likely an accomplice, was later revealed to be Kim Seo Jin’s secretary, Lee Taek Gyu (Jo Dong In).
The latest release stills show Kim Seo Jin visiting Kim Jin Ho in prison. Terrified, Kim Seo Jin seems to be questioning Kim Jin Ho, and is determined to get an answer from him. On the other hand, Kim Jin Ho, stares back at him with furrowed eyebrows and slightly raised lips. What is their conversation about? Will Kim Seo Jin get the answer he is looking for? It will all be revealed in the fifth episode of “Kairos”!
The series “Kairos” airs every Monday and Tuesday. However, viewers will have to wait a little longer for the next episode. Due to a baseball game, the fifth episode of “Kairos” will be airing on Nov 10 instead of Nov 9, according to reporter, Choi Bo Ran (Choi, 2020).
