  • Yeon Doo asks Tae Kyung for a favor to buy all different brands of tteokbokki because she has a very big craving for it. Tae Kyung goes to a convenience store in the middle of the night for Yeon Doo and wants to eat something sweet now, too. Tae Kyung takes Yeon Doo’s favors day and night. Tae Kyung becomes very fatigued.
  • Before Se Jin leaves for the States for work, she still has this unsolved question in the back of her head that she wants to find out. In order to do so, she visits Yeon Doo’s place again and looks for that note that says, this is going to end in three months and feels Yeon Doo out for more clues. Se Jin leaves with nothing but even more suspicion of Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo’s relationship.
  • Tae Kyung tries his best to cater to Yeon Doo’s needs. He even bakes sweet desserts for her, but Yeon Doo, being a very sensitive pregnant woman, picks a fight with Tae Kyung. He ended up leaving the house for a drink. When he comes back all drunk, he confesses the stress he has suppressed from being a fake son-in-law and a father.
  • Yeon Doo’s younger brother Dong Wook has a big event coming up. It’s the day of his job interview, and he cannot mess it up this time. However, he encounters Yu Myung, who he thinks is a psychopath stalker that kissed him in a convenience store. Yu Myung was not actually following him and tells him that she just happened to be there at the same place at the same time. She also tells him to get off his high horse because she is not interested in him at all. It’s just that he looks a lot like her ex-boyfriend and shows Dong Wook pictures as proof. Yu Myung also jinxes him with an old saying, “If you meet your doppelganger, you will die,” so Dong Wook should watch out and should never meet Jay (Yu Myung’s ex-boyfriend that looks exactly like Dong Wook). After hearing this, he was overpowered with strange thoughts and ended up messing up his job interview.
  • Ms. Eun and the rest of the family gathered to celebrate Yeon Doo’s birthday. Ms. Eun was not happy about this, but because she was so hungry, she joined them reluctantly. Yeon Doo and Tae Kyung are also gifted with diamond couple rings from Chan Sik. When everyone pays attention to the diamond rings, Se Jin barges in, and everyone is surprised. She then tells everyone she won’t be leaving for the States anymore, and on top of this, she tells Ms. Eun about Yeon Doo’s note that said, After three months, everything will end. Se Jin reassures Ms. She will unravel this mysterious note, and she will try to have everything back to the way it was before Yeon Doo joined the family.
  • Ji Myung, who was on the verge of getting divorced, stepped back a little bit and to rethink about the marriage due to her sudden pregnancy. The relationship is looking like it’s getting better because of this and Hyun Woo is more than happy to finally be a father. Hyun Woo gives Ji Myung a ride to her company, and this new guy follows behind her. He was working at the branch of Ji Myung’s company in the States, and he was newly appointed to the Seoul office where Ji Myung is working.
  • Yeon Doo is missing the old days when she was an alpha female, thriving as a star teacher at her academy and being the breadwinner of the family. When she passes by her old academy, she meets with her evil ex-colleague. He tortures her with harsh words, and when Tae Kyung sees this, he protects Yeon Doo by saying more harsh things to this evil guy. Yeon Doo was relieved to receive Tae Kyung’s help, but at the same time, she was scared. She knows that their relationship is only meant to last for three months, and after that, she will be all by herself. She tells Tae Kyung not to help her from now on so that she can get used to being alone and solve situations on her own. Tae Kyung feels bad for her, but he cannot argue with what she said because it’s the truth.
  • Se Jin used to live a very prestigious lifestyle until the family went bankrupt. Se Jin blames all this on her father and tells him to divorce her mother so they all go their separate ways. Se Jin is now very eager to have her place back in Ms. Eun’s family and kick out Yeon Doo. She believes that, in order to do so, she needed to kick out her rational father, who is against Se Jin’s ulterior motive to be part of Ms. Eun’s family.
  • Yeon Doo decided to go work at the Old School that her mother is attending, where the principal is Se Jin’s father. (Yeon Doo does not yet know that the principal is Se Jin’s father). While talking to Jang Ho for further information to soon work at the school, she starts to feel nauseous and collapses. Se Jin spots her and her father and takes Yeon Doo to the hospital immediately. Se Jin tells everyone that she is the one who rescued Yeon Doo when it was actually Jang Ho. (Se Jin probably has another ulterior motive for saying this)
