Happy New Year! Here we are in 2022, and there is no better time to let you know our new show lineup for January of 2022. Right now, we have two brand new shows premiering this month, one crime K-Drama and one unique take on a variety show that is one part talk show and the other “Family Ties.”
K-Drama “Through The Darkness” (Crime-Thriller)
“Through the Darkness,” whose Korean title literally translates to “Those Who Read the Minds of Evil,” is about a criminal profiler who can read the minds of serial killers. Kim Nam Gil plays said profiler and works in the Criminal Behavior Analysis unit for the Seoul Police Department.
They are keeping many things under wraps about this show right now, but, my guess is that his profiler skills are so good that he can literally visualize himself acting out the murders ala Hugh Dancy in “Hannibal,” or perhaps he literally can read the serial killers minds, either case, this is sure to affect his psyche as he struggles to preserve his own humanity.
Yeah, so, not your light-hearted drama, that’s for sure. Think of this more as a thriller to chill with during the winter season.
You can expect “Through the Darkness” to drop on January 14th.
Talk Show “DNA Mate” (Variety Show)
“DNA Mate” is a unique variety show that will explore the relationship between siblings and their daily lives as they live together. Guest stars will appear and discuss their relationships with their siblings, covering a variety of topics from variety and sorrow.
The hosts will be Lee Gyeong Gyu, the third child in his family, actress Kim Jung Eun, a social butterfly who needs more than 24 hours to meet people, and DinDin, the baby of his family. These hots will discuss their sibling relationships along with their guest stars.
“DNA Mate” is planned to premiere on January 4th in 2022.
Those are the two shows we have premiering in the first two weeks of the New Year! So as the nights get chilly, you can open the door to “DNA Mate” come January 4th or or curl up with the thriller Through the Darkness on January 14th.
