“The Penthouse” is sure to be an addictive roller-coaster ride that’s never enough. With its finale airing today, it may take a while before we can continue watching it again. But first, let’s go through some of the series’ most shocking and satisfying plot twists!

1. Min Seol A Turned Out To Be Shim Su Ryeon’s Daughter (Episode 4)
First, we learn that the poor Min Seol A grew up in an orphanage and she lived in a small apartment with her pet dog named Sugar. There are so many secrets surrounding this poor girl who was bullied by the rich kids living in the penthouse. Just moments before her death, one of the many secrets was revealed. Shim Su Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah) got the shock of her life after finding out that Min Seol A was her biological daughter all along.
2. Kang Ma Ri Put Food on the Table by Being a Spa Scrub Mistress, and Her Husband is in Jail Instead of Dubai (Episodes 10 & 11)
People in the penthouse had been suspecting Kang Ma Ri (Shim Eun Kyung) for committing adultery because she acted suspiciously–she dolls herself up on random occasions and quickly runs to a corner to answer her calls. On one of these times, Go Sang Ah (Yoon Joo Hee) overheard her saying over the phone coyly, “Take a hot bath and just wait a bit more. I’ll go over and relieve your stress soon.”
That made Sang Ah sure that Ma Ri was cheating on her husband, but Ma Ri is then seen in an old bath house after that. She wore only black underwear and was scrubbing three other rich-looking ladies who are seemingly responsible for Ma Ri’s wealth by sharing insider information about stocks with her. Ma Ri despised Oh Yoon Hee and looked down on her because she was poor. But little did we know, Ma Ri came from a humble background herself! She wasn’t born rich, she worked her way up by scrubbing others’ backs in the bath house (Jjim Jil Bang)!
Later on, Ma Ri was seen bribing a correctional officer and was all smiles to see her husband, who is not a businessman in Dubai, but an inmate in prison!
3. Gu Ho Dong, or Logan Lee, Was Revealed to Be Min Seol A’s Stepbrother (Episode 12)
Gu Ho Dong is Cheong Ah Arts High School’s humble P.E. teacher, but he walked into a luxury hotel casually with people greeting him along his way. As he went into a hotel room, he peeled off a layer of skin off his face and removed his wig. Then he turns into… the rich businessman, Logan Lee. Wait, what?!
Hang in there. That’s not all. After he fixed his hair and took a quick look in the mirror, he picked up an old photo of Min Seol A and him together on the dressing table, implying that Logan Lee is Min Seol A’s stepbrother!
4. Cheon Seo Jin Left Her Father Whom She Was Terrified Of to Die! (Episode 15)
Cheon Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon) grew up terrified of her father. She always tried hard to live up to her father’s sky-high expectations but disappointed him time and again. When her father found out that she divorced her husband and committed adultery, he decided to hand Cheong Ah Arts High School’s director position to her younger sister instead. Seo Jin begged her father desperately, but agitated him further instead. Her father fainted and rolled down the stairs. Blinded by her desire to become the director of Cheong Ah Arts High School, Seo Jin frantically picked up the letter of appointment in his hands and runs off, leaving her father to die.
5. Oh Yoon Hee, the Real Killer of Min Seol A (Episode 16)
Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene) had been helping Shim Su Ryeon all along. She did whatever Shim Su Ryeon told her to and they made such a great team. It was truly a pity when Yoon Hee blacked out after drinking alone while members of the penthouse were having a party on the day Min Seol A died.
One day, Shim Su Ryeon sent her a text to see her on the 47th floor. As Yoon Hee arrived, she finally recalled everything that happened on the day Seol A died. Seol A was strangled by Joo Dan Tae (Uhm Ki Joon) on the 47th floor. But the person who gave Seol A the final push down the building was none other than the drunk Yoon Hee!
“The Penthouse” season 2 will premiere this winter after “Delayed Justice” ends. The second season will now air every Friday and Saturday!

Its a pity for that poor girl who suffered from the beginning of her life until the day she die, the writer shouldn’t have write that min soal ah died instead after she fell down and been thrown away by those wicked people of the penthouse, that she was later found by someone who treated her, the death of that poor girl min soal ah that viewers have been hoping to see what she will become and the injustice act of the drama, was one of the reasons this drama don’t hit box office with highest rate and view.
