Meet the Characters

Uie as Lee Hyo Sim

Uie takes on the role of the main character, Lee Hyo Sim. She is a dutiful daughter who has devoted herself to her family since her father disappeared one day, leaving her responsible for her mother, two older brothers, and younger brother. After high school, she became a personal trainer due to her natural athleticism and skill in physical activities. Currently, she works at a fitness center in Gangnam while supporting her family.

Lee Hyo Sim is the fitness center’s ace, dedicated to attracting and retaining members. She even does early morning workouts that other trainers avoid. Her responsibilities include taking care of Tae Ho, a cranky member who insists on working out alone very early in the morning before the gym opens.

Uiㄷe, known as a member of After School who successfully transitioned into acting, has showcased her talent and versatility in dramas like “High Society” and “Manhole.” Her return to KBS weekend dramas after a four-year hiatus, following her role in “My Only One,” is highly anticipated.

Ha Jun as Kang Tae Ho

Ha Jun plays Kang Tae Ho, the director of the planning division of a conglomerate. Tae Ho possesses both looks and talent and becomes involved with Lee Hyo Shim when he joins the fitness center where she works. Initially, Tae Ho refuses personal training and insists on working out alone, but he gradually begins to listen to Hyo Shim, who diligently fulfills her role as a fitness trainer despite his initial rudeness.

Ha Jun is an up-and-coming actor known for his work in dramas of various genres, including “Missing: The Other Side,” “SF8,” and “Bad Papa.” He gained recognition for his role as a prosecutor in the legal comedy “Bad Prosecutor” alongside Doh Kyung Soo. “Live Your Own Life” marks Ha Jun’s first leading K-drama role!

Why To Watch “Live Your Own Life”

“Live Your Own Life” promises to be a relatable K-drama, as it depicts the story of a devoted daughter who decides to prioritize her own happiness after sacrificing so much for her family. The series will show us Hyo Sim’s journey as she realizes that valuing herself is a wise way to protect and love her family and that choosing yourself first will never be wrong.

The drama will explore the unique dynamics between a dedicated physical trainer and a grumpy conglomerate who joins the fitness center. It will be fun to witness the dynamics and relationship development of the two knowing Hyo Shim has always been dedicated and sacrificed for her family, but when she meets Tae Ho, she learns how to prioritize herself.

As Tae Ho, who has lost both his parents and feels isolated, finds comfort in Hyo Shim, “Live Your Own Life” will illustrate how two people positively influence and find solace in each other.

A lot is also looking forward to the romance and chemistry of our main couple just by watching the drama’s teaser and seeing the released still cuts. I mean look at them! Don’t we all feel the chemistry? Don’t forget to watch “Live Your Own Life” premiering September 16 on KOCOWA+!
