After his latest hit drama “The Last Empress,” Choi Jin-Hyuk is coming back to the small screen with a new drama “Justice” next month! The upcoming drama will replace “Angel’s Last Mission: Love.”

Here’s what we can expect from “Justice.”

Justice

AIRING: July 2019. On Wednesdays and Thursdays.

GENRE: Thriller.

MAIN LEADS: Choi Jin-Hyuk, Nana, Son Hyun-Joo.

PLOT: Lee Tae-Kyung (Choi Jin-Hyuk) is a lawyer with the highest win rate. He wanted to take revenge for his younger brother at first, but soon loses sight of it. He helps get his high-profile clients acquitted or at the very least, put them on probation, to gain wealth and power. Most of his clients are from Song Woo-Yong (Son Hyun-Joo), a man who succumbed to evil because of his family. Both Lee Tae-Kyung and Song Woo-Yong come into conflict when they run into a series of cases involving missing actresses.

The drama is based on a web novel “Justice.”

We don’t know how “Justice” is going to turn out exactly as of now. But like most dramas involving lawyers, it’s probably going to be filled with surprising twists and turns which I will be looking forward to!

To add, by looking at its synopsis, it seems to have similar vibes with the amazing drama “Doctor Prisoner” that has ended its broadcast recently. Could it be as thrilling as “Doctor Prisoner” or is it going to have its own color? For that, we’ll have to wait and see.

While we wait patiently for Choi Jin-Hyuk‘s new drama “Justice,” here are some of his dramas that are available on KOCOWA to binge on!

The Last Empress (Nov 2018- Feb 2019)

GENRE: Makjang.

MAIN LEADS: Choi Jin-Hyuk, Jang Na-Ra, Shin Sung-Rok, Lee Elijah.

PLOT: Set in the present day of South Korea, but the country is under a hypothetical constitutional monarchy. Oh Sunny (Jang Na-Ra) is a musical actress who marries Emperor Lee Hyuk (Shin Sung-Rok). She finds herself entangled in the murder of the Grand Empress Dowager and seeks to find out the truth behind her death. Na Wang-Shik (Choi Jin-Hyuk) who enters the palace to take revenge for his mother, works as Oh Sunny’s bodyguard. Soon, the both of them work together to get rid of corruption that’s rampant in the palace.

The first few episodes of the drama are definitely capable of hooking you up. The drama is packed with countless twists and turns which are extremely enjoyable–but only if you throw logic out of the window. However, it’s exactly the reason why this drama is just so addictive. No one can predict what’s going to happen or what will the characters do next, and that keeps one watching till the end.

WATCH FOR: Choi Jin-Hyuk‘s cool fight scenes and the drama’s addictive and hilarious twists.

Fated To Love You (2014)

GENRE: Romcom.

MAIN LEADS: Jang Hyuk, Jang Na-Ra, Choi Jin-Hyuk.

PLOT: An average-looking woman happens to spend a night together with the successor of a large company by accident. Her pregnancy creates a shaky relationship between the two.

The drama is a remake of the popular 2008 Taiwanese drama series “Fated to Love You.” While its storyline follows its original series closely, there are some differences to keep it from being too predictable.

WATCH FOR: Choi Jin-Hyuk as the second male lead and a nostalgic romcom storyline.

Stay tuned to “Justice” that will begin airing in July and subscribe to KOCOWA to watch these dramas!
