So, who is he dating? A British citizen who used to live in Italy! On December 26th, 2022 Sports Joseon broke the news that Song Joong Ki has been in a relationship for over a year! His talent agency, HighZium Studio quickly confirmed it. The two met through an acquaintance, and she was reportedly his Italian tutor for Vincenzo.
HighZium Studio says they can’t reveal much about the relationship, because the woman in question isn’t a celebrity, but that might just be semantics. If she’s the same woman who was with him at a media conference in Singapore at the beginning of December, then he’s allegedly dating Katy Louise Saunders. She may not qualify as a “celebrity” in Korea, but she’s had roles in American and Italian films. Netizens have also dug up photos of her alleged daughter, who’s said to be around ten years old.
More evidence is surfacing every day, including pictures of Song Joong Ki and Katy attending a wedding. Regardless of if it’s Katy or someone else, it’s nice that Song Joong Ki is dating again. If he’s happy, then we should be happy for him.
