Thirty years ago, Sun Hae’s husband ran away with Seon Chool’s wife, leaving both of them behind. Clinging to a sliver of hope, they spend hours searching the area… only to come up empty-handed. Just when it feels like a dead end, Sun Hae unexpectedly runs into a customer in the same city. The reunion brings a moment of warmth, but it quickly turns mysterious, the woman later calls someone “oppa,” hinting she may know more than she’s letting on.

At work, Ju Ah finds herself at the center of an unexpected rumor that everyone assumes Jun Hyeok is her boyfriend. While Hyun Bin awkwardly tries to deny any connection, the situation spirals. Feeling bad for him and overwhelmed in the moment, Ju Ah blurts out the truth… except it’s not the one anyone expected. She declares that Jun Hyeok isn’t her boyfriend, but Hyun Bin is. Hyun Bin even goes to a jeweler to find Ju Ah a perfect diamond ring.

Tensions explode for Dong Ik and Jeong Han when their long-awaited program is suddenly at risk of cancellation. The production team uncovers their complicated family history and suggests moving forward with Jeong Han alone. Furious, Dong Ik storms out, while Jeong Han refuses to continue unless they go on together. But Dong Ik, already consumed by resentment, twists the situation in his mind, believing Jeong Han is deliberately taking everything from him.

That night, both families gather at Dong Suk’s new Korean BBQ restaurant, unaware of the storm about to unfold. Already drunk and on edge, Dong Ik lashes out, revealing a shocking truth in front of everyone: he was the one who released the damaging video that nearly destroyed Ju Ah’s career. The room falls into chaos. Jeong Han is blindsided, having wanted to protect his wife from the truth. But before things spiral further, Se Ri steps in and takes the blame herself, leaving everyone stunned. With relationships hanging by a thread, Dae Han and Ju Ah are left walking on eggshells as the tension between the families reaches a breaking point.
Despite everything, Jeong Han and Dong Ik ultimately decide to push forward with filming the show. But the resentment between them is impossible to hide, and it shows. Every scene is heavy with tension, their unresolved emotions spilling onto the screen.

On a quieter note, Min Seo and Se Ri continue to grow closer, even sharing a simple outing at a tteokbokki spot. But the calm doesn’t last long; there, Se Ri is suddenly called by the name “Jung Sun” by a deliveryman, hinting at a past she hasn’t fully revealed.
And just when things couldn’t get more overwhelming, Seong Mi receives devastating news during a routine checkup: a lump has been found in her breast, leaving her shaken and fearful of what’s to come.

Ju Ah and Hyun Bin take their grandparents out for a picnic, offering a rare moment of peace. But even in that quiet setting, Sun Hae and Seon Chool quickly pick up on something undeniable: Hyun Bin’s feelings for Ju Ah are real.
Meanwhile, Dae Han and Dong Suk’s relationship begins to grow stronger than ever. Even as their families remain fractured after the chaos at Onjeong Market, the two continue to find their way back to each other.
