Everything That Happened in “Recipe For Love” Episodes 29 and 30

After Eun Bin reveals to Min Seo that Se Ri is actually her biological mother, Min Seo’s entire world comes crashing down. Overwhelmed with guilt, Eun Bin tearfully kneels before Min Seo, apologizing for taking away the love and care that should have belonged to her all along. Even so, Eun Bin desperately begs Min Seo not to tell Se Ri the truth, fearing that once the rest of the family finds out, Se Ri could be completely cast out. Later, Se Ri returns home glowing with happiness after successfully opening her new business, but Min Seo suddenly bursts into tears for no apparent reason, leaving Se Ri deeply confused and caught off guard.

Even after Sun Hae discovers the relationship between Hyun Bin and Ju Ah, Ju Ah still cannot let go of her feelings for him. The two continue working together on a project that could potentially destroy Hyun Bin’s standing within the company, putting Ju Ah in an emotionally difficult position. As the project’s budget gets drastically reduced, the entire team is pushed into uncertainty. Knowing how anxious Ju Ah feels about the situation, Hyun Bin quietly sacrifices himself to secure the budget for the team, even if it means risking his own future at the company and potentially losing his job altogether.
Still determined to find her runaway husband, Sun Hae learns from a longtime pharmacy customer, Sung Nam, that a man resembling her husband may be working at a nearby laundry shop. However, when Sun Hae contacts Sung Nam about it, Sung Nam reacts with visible hesitation, raising suspicions. Meanwhile, Jeong Han receives a heartbreaking message from his father saying, “Do not look for me. I’m fine with the life I’m living now,” leaving Jeong Han furious and devastated. However, this message was actually sent from Sung Nam.

Dae Han continues building his romance with Dong Sook until his peaceful happiness is shattered by the sudden arrival of his ex-wife, who claims to be pregnant with his child. Dae Han breaks down in tears, overwhelmed with disbelief. After desperately wanting a child for so long, he is suddenly faced with the possibility of becoming a father to the one person he resents most.
As Seong Mi prepares for her upcoming breast cancer surgery, Hyun Bin stays by her side and helps her organize everything she needs before being hospitalized, showing his unwavering care and support for her during one of the hardest moments of her life.

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin secretly decides to leave the company without telling anyone except Sun Hae. Although Sun Hae once wanted Ju Ah and Hyun Bin to break up, Hyun Bin admits that he can no longer imagine continuing to work at the same company as Ju Ah afterward. Instead, he chooses to quietly walk away, ensuring Ju Ah’s project receives the funding it needs before planning to leave for Argentina. Completely unaware of his decision, Ju Ah continues forward while Sun Hae is left consumed with guilt, believing she may have pushed Hyun Bin toward this painful choice.
At the same time, Se Ri’s late husband’s old friend suddenly asks her for money to cover his leg surgery. As Se Ri continues receiving secretive phone calls and meeting someone behind closed doors, Dong Ik grows increasingly suspicious. Having once suffered through the trauma of his own wife leaving him for another man, Dong Ik begins reliving those painful memories and even goes as far as checking Se Ri’s phone out of fear and distrust.
Determined to uncover the truth, Dae Han investigates his ex-wife’s pregnancy claim and eventually discovers that the entire story was fabricated. Although the lie deeply shakes his relationship with Dong Sook, Dae Han rushes to reassure her once he learns the truth, explaining that his ex-wife maliciously deceived him. In the end, the painful ordeal only strengthens the love and trust between Dae Han and Dong Sook even more.

On the day of Ju Ah’s major runway project, where Seong Mi is set to participate, Ju Ah learns the devastating truth that the project’s budget approval came at the cost of Hyun Bin leaving the company. To make matters worse, while preparing for the show, Ju Ah accidentally answers a hospital call on Seong Mi’s phone and discovers her mother’s breast cancer surgery date and time. In one crushing moment, Ju Ah realizes that the two most important people in her life have both been silently suffering behind her back, leaving her world completely shattered.

Dong Ik catches Se Ri speaking with a mysterious man, triggering the painful trauma of his ex-wife’s betrayal once again. Unable to shake his suspicions, he secretly hires a private investigator to dig deeper into Se Ri’s relationship with the stranger.
Meanwhile, Se Ri unexpectedly prepares seaweed soup on an ordinary day, leaving Eun Bin confused since nobody in the family has a birthday.
Elsewhere, Seong Mi finally enters the operating room to undergo surgery and remove her tumor.
