• After finally learning that his birth mother never abandoned him and was instead separated from him decades ago, Dong Ik’s discovery sparks new hope for Jeong Han. For the first time, Jeong Han begins to consider that his own father may not have willingly disappeared. Conversations with the police reveal another possibility: perhaps his father was taken away or prevented from returning home. Though it’s an idea he has never considered before, Jeong Han can’t ignore the possibility.

• Determined to uncover the truth, Jeong Han begins searching for his father with Dong Ik by his side. While helping his friend, Dong Ik also encourages Jeong Han to stop standing in the way of Dae Han and Dong Sook’s relationship. He even urges him to push the couple toward marriage. After so many obstacles, Dae Han and Dong Sook are overjoyed to finally receive the family’s blessing.
• Despite mourning the loss of his mother, Dong Ik finds himself unable to stop thinking about Se Ri. The fear that she may never return home continues to weigh heavily on his mind, even appearing in his dreams.
• As Jeong Han and Dong Ik distribute missing person flyers across town, an unknown woman secretly pays paper collectors to remove every flyer they put up. Meanwhile, a mysterious man, who appears to be connected to Jeong Han’s past, carefully writes down the names of hospitals featured in the television documentary starring Jeong Han and Dong Ik. His caregiver warns him that skipping his medication could be life-threatening, but this time, he chooses not to take it.

• Before officially leaving the company, Ju Ah pours her heart into one final fashion showcase. For the event, Hyun Bin asks Se Ri to model, and she happily agrees. However, while staying at Hyun Bin’s rented home, Se Ri discovers photos of him and Ju Ah together. Rage -quickly begins to build.
• The tension finally erupts after the showcase. Se Ri confronts Ju Ah and demands answers about her relationship with Hyun Bin, accusing her of being the reason he almost left the country. Refusing to get involved, Ju Ah tells Se Ri to ask Hyun Bin directly. When Hyun Bin witnesses the confrontation, he firmly tells Se Ri that their relationship is over and that she should stop worrying about his life. Burdened by guilt for continually placing Ju Ah in uncomfortable situations, Hyun Bin throws himself back into work.
• Elsewhere, Jun Hyeok continues to provide emotional support to Hye Soo during a difficult period at the company. Their growing closeness catches the attention of a powerful executive who has ambitions of taking over the company while Hye Soo’s father remains hospitalized. Suspicious of Jun Hyeok, he launches an investigation and discovers that Jun Hyeok has no known parents. At the same time, Hye Soo’s father can’t shake the feeling that Jun Hyeok reminds him of someone from his past.
• The two families gather to discuss Dae Han and Dong Sook’s upcoming marriage, but the long-awaited meeting quickly turns uncomfortable. While waiting, Se Ri notices repeated calls between Dong Ik and Seong Mi on his phone. Consumed by jealousy, she lashes out at both Seong Mi and Ju Ah in front of everyone, creating an awkward and tense atmosphere.

• Later, Se Ri decides to reconcile with Dong Ik and return home. But her troubles are far from over. Hyun Bin confronts her and bluntly tells her to stop interfering in his life and leave Ju Ah alone. He explains that he lost his memories nearly 30 years ago and only recently became curious enough to reach out. The timeline perfectly matches Jeong Han’s missing father. Desperate for answers, Jeong Han asks where the man is calling from, but the call abruptly ends before he can learn more.
