Finally, It’s the most romantic day of the year and the day we are all waiting for. It’s Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s day is a very special day in K-Dramas! We see how the couples make an effort by making this day very special to their other half. One way of showing their affection is through the love language of physical touch! I mean who wouldn’t want cuddles and kisses from our favorite persons?

K-Drama characters are known to be great kissers so let’s chat about the different types of kisses that we usually see in K-Dramas!

Drunk Kisses

First on the list is one of the most popular types of kisses that we see in K-Dramas! The one that happens when the leads are drunk and they can’t control their overflowing emotions.

In the romantic school drama “Police University“, Kang Hee (Krystal) had no choice but to kiss the drunk and loud Sun Ho (Jinyoung) because they were about to get caught! After the first kiss, Sun Ho had the courage to initiate the second one which was more passionate than the first! Jin Young and Krystal’s chemistry is really insane!

Good Night Kisses

One of the most romantic types of kisses is when the male lead sends the female lead to her home and gives a “good night kiss” before saying goodbye!

In the romantic melodrama “Youth of May“, Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) walked Myeong Hee (Go Min Si) home to make sure that she will be safe. He doesn’t want to part ways yet that’s why Myeong Hee initiated their first kiss and it’s the most romantic thing ever! Go Min Si and Lee Do Hyun are really THAT pairing.

Kisses Under The Snowfall

Another popular type of K-Drama kisses is when K-Drama couples kiss under the snowfall! It’s really romantic when K-Drama characters confess their love and everything just feels right.

In the romantic comedy sports drama “Weightlifting Fairy, Kim Bok-joo“, Joong Young (Nam Joo Hyuk) ran as fast as he could to see Bok Joo (Lee Sung Kyoung). Under the snowfall, Bok Joo confessed that she likes him back! The two showed their affection by kissing each other not just once but a lot of times. Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyoung’s chemistry made us feel things!

Accidental Kisses

Not a romantic one BUT it’s still a kiss. Accidental kiss is something we see so common in K-Dramas where the male and female leads who are in a serious situation accidentally kiss each other!

In the horror romantic comedy-drama “Lovely Horribly“, Philip (Park Si Hoo) and Eul Soon (Song Ji Hyo) are stuck on top of each other while listening to scary news. Philip lost his balance when someone called his name, that’s why he accidentally kissed Eul Soon while they were having a serious conversation! The funny thing is another person saw this incident which makes the whole situation so awkward for the characters but funny for us, the viewers.

Kiss You Can’t Get Off Your Mind

Another type of kiss that we commonly see in K-Drama is when the female lead can’t remove the kiss from her mind. Like whatever she does, her mind will have a flashback of their kiss and she can’t stop thinking about what happened.

In the historical romance drama “Moonshine“, Ro Seo (Hyeri) was flustered when someone asked her about Young (Yoo Seung Ho). She can’t stop thinking about the kiss that happened between the two of them! Flustered and shy Hyeri is really the cutest.

Kiss inside the Office

I really love it when K-Dramas have that secretive couple who acts like they don’t like each other in front of other people but they are actually dating behind other people’s backs.

In the romantic comedy-drama “Dali and Cocky Prince“, Da Li (Park Gyu Young) kissed Moo Hak (Kim Min Jae) because she finds him too adorable. The two were passionately kissing each other at work and they didn’t expect that someone would open the door of Moo Hak’s office! It’s an intense one but we can’t deny Min Jae and Gyu Young’s overflowing chemistry.

Kiss after the Confession

I’m really a fan when K-Drama leads get into a heated argument and end up confessing their love in the most romantic way!

In the romantic comedy-drama “Into The Ring“, Gong Myung (Park Sung Hoon) ended up confessing his love to Se Ra (Nana) when he admitted that he did things he doesn’t usually do because he wanted to help Se Ra! He said, “I did it because it’s you.” and Se Ra kissed him after she knew what he felt about her! The chemistry between Nana and Park Sung Hoon is really the best!

Kiss Under Cherry Blossom

Just like kissing under the snowfall, kissing under the cherry blossoms is one thing we always see in K-Dramas! Confessing your love under the cherry blossom tree is something we all want to experience.

In the romance drama “Find Me in Your Memory” Jeong Hoon (Kim Dong Wook) and Ha Jin (Mun Ka Young) are enjoying a sweet date together while walking under the cherry blossoms. They spent their time enjoying each other’s company and reassuring each other that they won’t leave each other. I really want what Jeong Hoon and Ha Jin have!

Car Kisses

Another popular type of kissing scene in K-Dramas is when the couple has to go on undercover dates because the other one is a top star and they don’t have any other choice but to go on car dates!

In the music romance drama “Radio Romance“, Top actor Soo Ho (Yoon Doo Joon) picks his girlfriend Geu Rim (Kim So Hyun) for a car date! Soo Ho got jealous after his conversation with Geu Ru so she reassured him that he’s the only one she loves by kissing him.

Forehead Kisses

Last but not the least, the most romantic kiss of all, the forehead kiss! It’s the kind of kiss that makes us feel soft and warm knowing your loved one truly respects and adores you!

In the romance medical drama “Dr. Romantic 2“, Eun Jae (Lee Seong Kyung) promised that she’ll be back and Woo Jin (Ahn Hyo Seop) proved that he trusts and is willing to wait for her by giving her a warm embrace and a forehead kiss.

Once again, Happy Valentines to everyone! If you still don’t know what to do today how about binge-watching these romantic K-Dramas on KOCOWA with your loved ones?
