Being a K-Drama fan for years, I encountered a lot of different kinds of couples, and there is one kind that makes me feel butterflies in my stomach. They are those couples with cute height differences!
Most of the K-Drama actors that we know have a height difference from the female leads. When they stand and interact with each other it produces a different kind of chemistry, and it’s oh so fun looking at them!
Now let’s meet adorable K-Drama couples with cute height differences and learn a little information about the drama they’re in, just in case you want to watch them! And who doesn’t want to watch them?
“Extra-ordinary You” Couple
When we think of K-Drama couples with cute height differences, most of us first think about Haru (SF9 Rowoon) and Dan Oh (Kim Hye Yoon) of the fantasy school romance “Extra-ordinary You!”
What makes “Extra-ordinary You” so interesting is that the drama is set inside a webtoon (YES, the characters are actually webtoon characters!). The main protagonist is a side character from that webtoon who’s going to die, and she wants to defy her fate! Interesting, right?
Aside from having a cute height difference, the two are also the most adorable couple. They are like the missing pieces of each other’s lives, and I love that they show it through words and actions!
“Business Proposal” Couple
The couple who is currently loved by everyone is Kang Tae Moo (Ahn Hyo Seop) and Shin Ha Ri (Kim Se Jeong) of the romantic comedy “Business Proposal.”
Everyone can’t help but fall in love with the drama for its fun and romantic vibes! “Business Proposal” is about a woman who ended up using her rich best friend’s identity on a blind date, but the twist is, her blind date is her company’s CEO!
Ha Ri and Tae Moo are the kind of couple who will make you feel things while watching them. The two suit each other so well, and they have undeniable chemistry!
“Come and Hug Me” Couple
Chae Do Jin (Jang Ki Yong) and Han Jae Yi (Jin Ki Joo) of “Come and Hug Me” might have a cute height difference but they came from a tragic yet beautiful melodrama.
“Come and Hug Me” is about two teenagers who became each other’s first love, but their short love comes to an end when the male lead’s father killed the parents of the female lead. (Yes, it’s really a sad BUT beautiful drama).
The drama is about how these two people will reconnect despite their tragic past. They are the couple who could make you say that they deserve all the happiness after everything they have experienced.
“While You Were Sleeping” Couple
Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) and Nam Hong Joo (Suzy) are the wholesome and unproblematic couple from the fantasy romance “While You Were Sleeping.”
This is one of my favorite K-Dramas ever because it has such a cool storyline! The female lead sees the future through her dreams and together with the male leads they try to stop misfortunes and tragedy from happening!
The two are a one-of-a-kind couple that has a healthy relationship with the second male lead! Together, they are a power couple who use their unique abilities to save others from tragedy.
“Love in the Moonlight” Couple
Lee Yeong (Park Bo Gum) and Hong Ra On (Kim Yoo Jung) are the lovely couple from the historical romance “Love in the Moonlight.”
“Love in the Moonlight” is a coming-of-age and youth romance set in Joseon Dynasty between the Crown Prince and his eunuch. What makes their relationship so intriguing is that the Crown Prince’s eunuch is actually a woman who’s pretending to be a man!
If you’re looking for a historical drama with a good portrayal of the monarchy system and with an amazing couple who are willing to risk everything for each other then “Love in the Moonlight” is for you!
“Suspicious Partner” Couple
The cool couple from the romantic comedy “Suspicious Partner” is Noh Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook) and Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun).
“Suspicious Partner” is a different kind of romantic comedy legal drama because it is about a prosecutor trainee who gets falsely accused and a prosecutor who got demoted because he risks his career to save her!
Despite being in a drama about catching a serial killer, the two have an enchanting relationship with one another. They help each other during the darkest times, and I love their playful banters!
“The Heirs” Couple
The couple everyone loves is Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) of the school romance “The Heirs.”
I know most of us already watched this 2013 drama and to those who haven’t, it’s not yet too late to watch writer Kim Eun Sook’s star-studded drama!
“The Heirs” is a romantic comedy youth drama that portrays the love and friendship of wealthy high school students as they overcome difficulties and grow every step of the way!
“Fight For My Way” Couple
Ko Dong Man (Park Seo Joon) and Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won), who went from friends to lovers, are from the romantic comedy “Fight For My Way“.
“Fight For My Way” is a must-watch youth drama about four ordinary people who want to pursue their dreams! Yes, a lot of people loved this drama because of its realistic portrayal of life.
The drama also perfectly portrayed the transition of two longtime best friends to lovers! Really loved the dynamics of the two main leads because they can be who they are in front of each other!
Now that we got to know who these couples with cute height differences are…let’s get to know them even more by subscribing and watching their K-Dramas on KOCOWA!
