July is the month for all K-pop fans! Did you know that the whole month is filled with comebacks? Seventeen, one of the most popular K-pop boy groups, the leaders of 4th generation aespa, ENHYPEN, and ITZY, the winner of Mnet’s survival show WJSN, the biggest 2nd generation boy group, Super Junior, and a lot more have debuts, comebacks, and repackages planned for this month.

K-pop fans like me would be very fortunate to hear a variety of songs, but it would be tough for fans to ensure that their favorite groups will win in a music show! To those who are unfamiliar, K-pop groups compete in music shows like “Music Bank K-Chart,” “Show! Music Core,” and “SBS Inkigayo,” and they will have the opportunity to win first place if they top all the criteria!

ENHYPEN – July 4

ENHYPEN is one of the most prominent 4th generation boy groups, having emerged from BTS’s agency, HYBE, and a survival competition show. The group is known to be the fastest K-Pop act to exceed a million sales for an album and the fastest K-Pop group to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify!

Last 2021, ENHYPEN, together with their labelmate, TXT, went to show off their charm at the “2021 KBS Song Festival“! The group danced to legendary K-Pop songs by TVXQ, BIGBANG, EXO, BTS, SECHSKIES, H.O.T, and more!

WJSN – July 5

The winner of Mnet’s “Queendom 2” survival show will have their most awaited comeback on July 5! The rising girl group got a lot of attention because of how talented and fun they were on the show. K-drama fans are also looking forward to seeing Bona (“Girls’ Generation 1979“), who gained recognition after starring in the hit series “Twenty Five Twenty One.”

Next week, WJSN is going to be on the variety show “Weekly Idol.” The girl group has been on the show many times and is known for being fun and crazy, so everyone is excited about their next appearance.

WINNER – July 5

After waiting for 2 more years, the long wait is over because WINNER is also coming back on July 5! The boy group is loved for their hit songs like “Really Really,” which topped the Korean charts and is one of the most loved K-Pop songs of that year!

WINNER’s manager was featured on an episode of the variety show “The Manager“. He described how he prepares WINNER’s breakfast every morning and how Mino refers to him as Baek Jong Won (a top-rated chef in South Korea).

July 6 – VIVIZ

Do the VIVIZ members appear familiar? Former GFRIEND members SinB, Umji, and Eunha, debuted in a trio group this year! The new girl group also competed in the Mnet reality show “Queendom 2,” where they garnered a lot of new fans!

VIVIZ SinB appeared on “The King of Mask Singer” in 2018, and everyone fell in love with her voice. She also showed her incredible dance abilities, leading the panelists to believe she was an idol singer.

July 8 – aespa

SM Entertainment’s newest group, aespa, is named TIME’s Next Generation Leaders. They are known for their metaverse concept in K-pop and constantly breaking new ground with each new album. The group’s upcoming album has already been pre-ordered a million times.

aespa is well-known for their songs and captivating stage presence, which has led to many invitations from different year-end shows, including the “2021 MBC Music Festival,” where they performed their hit songs! For their comeback promotion, aespa will also appear on the variety show “The Manager“.

Chungha – July 11

Queen Chungha is also returning this month after nearly two years! The soloist is well-known for her incredible music and choreography. Super Junior is the most active 2nd generation boy group! Did you know the group has been in the industry for 17 years and is still attracting new fans? Super Junior is that group where all members are known by everyone!

Members of Super Junior are well-known for their acting, versatility, and hosting abilities! In Late 2019, “BTS Variety Chronicles” was formed! It’s a ranking show program where the hosts handpick the funniest scenes worth watching again among all the SBS variety shows that BTS has appeared in.
