“Live Your Own Life” Episode 40 & 41 Recap:

  • Behold the truth: Myung Hee drops a bombshell on Tae Min, revealing that Tae Ho is his biological younger brother. She had no choice back then but to do this because Jin Bum failed to produce a child and was scorned by his father for not continuing the family bloodline. Thus, Jun Bum’s younger brother, who fathered two sons, had one given away to Jun Bum by Myung Hee, and this fact remained sealed and buried for this whole time.
  • Sook Hyang is now in custody for embezzlement from the company. She is striving to get herself out of this predicament and pin the blame on Tae Ho. Meanwhile, Tae Min is nowhere to be found. Upon learning the truth the hard way, he visits his biological parents’ memorial museum to seek forgiveness, now aware that they are his biological parents.
  • Hyo Sim works part-time at her mother’s new café because Sun Soon can barely hold herself together after the unexpected pregnancy of Hyo Jun with his girlfriend, Mi Rim.
  • Mi Rim, a lawyer, aids Sun Soon in her quest to locate her long-lost husband. Leveraging her connections with the police, Mi Rim provides information in hopes of facilitating a reunion.
  • Tae Ho overhears a conversation between Tae Min and Myung Hee. When Tae Ho presses for further details, Myung Hee confesses and admits to wronging his mother in the worst possible manner. Tae Ho is left speechless. Myung Hee desperately seeks forgiveness and implores Tae Ho to reconcile with Tae Min.
  • Hyo Sung works as a delivery man to cope with the situation and support his family. He anxiously awaits Park Jin Myung, who may hold the key to unraveling these conspiracies.
  • Mi Rim finally locates Sun Soon’s long-lost father and plans to visit him with Hyo Sim before revealing the news to everyone else.
