Here are the highlights of episodes 44 & 45 of “Live Your Own Life”!

“Live Your Own Life” Episode 44 & 45 Recap:

  • Tae Min discovered that his mother had been terminally ill in the past, and she had made efforts to reveal herself as his biological mother. Unaware of this, Jin Bum did everything in his power to prevent them from forming a bond, in a fear of losing Tae Min as his son.
  • Sun Soon learns that Hyo Sim’s boyfriend, Tae Ho, is from the conglomerate Taesan Group. Initially, Hyo Sim presumed that Sun Soon would be pleased with the prospect of her marrying into such wealth, but she misjudged. Sun Soon is deeply concerned that Hyo Sim might be entering into a complex family situation where she may not be accepted. Sun Soon vehemently opposes their marriage even more.
  • Tae Min pays a visit to Myung Hee to convey that Jin Bum is not responsible for the deaths of his biological parents; rather, it was a tragic accident caused by external factors. Myung Hee remains skeptical and presents him with a copy of the dashboard camera footage. Together, Tae Min and Tae Ho scrutinize the footage closely. Tae Ho’s indignation towards Jin Bum intensifies upon viewing the evidence, prompting him to urge Tae Min to turn it over to the authorities.
  • Tae Hee harbors suspicions about Sook Hyang being an accomplice to Jin Bum in the murder of Tae Ho and Tae Min’s parents. She doesn’t hold back her opinions, openly taunting Sook Hyang with the knowledge she possesses, and even boldly addresses Mr. Yeom as ‘dad’ in a mocking tone.
  • Tae Hee presents the results of a DNA test she conducted between herself and Mr. Yeom, hoping to confirm their father-daughter relationship. To everyone’s surprise, the test yields a negative result, indicating that Mr. Yeom is not Tae Hee’s biological father. Shockingly, it becomes apparent that Mr. Yeom had been deceived all along by Sook Hyang, who manipulated him into believing Tae Hee was his own daughter. Exploiting his trust, Sook Hyang effectively held Mr. Yeom captive for years, coercing him to work for her under the threat of undisclosed consequences. Mr. Yeom is left speechless, grappling with the weight of this revelation.
  • Sook Hyang has cunningly manipulated Mr. Yeom into becoming her unwitting puppet, convincing him that Tae Hee is his daughter and thus compelling him to continuously safeguard Sook Hyang and their family. Mr. Yeom obediently adhered to this directive, faithfully standing by Sook Hyang’s side and shouldering the blame whenever necessary, all to extricate her from trouble.
  • Undeterred, Tae Ho persistently pursues Sun Soon, determined to win her affection. However, Sun Soon remains wary of Tae Ho’s true intentions, as it seems highly improbable for someone like Hyo Sim, an ordinary individual, to marry into a conglomerate of such stature.
  • Tae Hee unveils a startling revelation to Tae Min: on the fateful day of his parents’ accident, it was Sook Hyang who goaded Jin Bum into causing the collision. Moreover, she even contacted Mr. Yeom that very day, instructing him to intervene if Jin Bum faltered in executing the plan. With this revelation, the truth about the perpetrators is now crystal clear: Sook Hyang and Mr. Yeom are the ones responsible for the tragedy.
