“Live Your Own Life” Episode 46 & 47 Recap:

  • Tae Min finally discovers the true identity of the killer responsible for their parents’ deaths: it was the mastermind, Jang Sook Hyang, with Mr. Yeom as her accomplice. Tae Ho erupts in anger, and the brothers discuss how to handle the revelation.
  • Tae Ho finally manages to reach out to the one person who holds the key to proving the deaths of Tae Ho and Tae Min’s parents: Mr. Park. Tae Ho pleads with Mr. Park to come to Korea and assist in bringing the killers to justice.
  • With tenacity, Tae Ho visits Sun Soon, aiming to maintain a cordial demeanor in order to gain her approval for his marriage to Hyo Sim. After demonstrating his sincerity and efforts, Sun Soon finally gives her blessing to their union.
  • As Kkeut Soon works as a full-time employee at Sun Soon’s café, she experiences a peculiar encounter. A customer bears a striking resemblance to her grandson, but she dismisses her instincts, knowing they reside in the States. However, unable to shake her gut feeling, she decides to follow him and discovers her son and grandchildren having a lavish dinner.
  • Tae Min obtains Mr. Yeom’s secret phone and listens to one of the recordings, uncovering a damning conversation between him and Sook Hyang, detailing their plan to kill Tae Min’s parents. Shocked, Tae Min refuses Sook Hyang’s pleas for forgiveness and insists on seeing her behind bars.
  • Myung Hee is prepared to reclaim her rightful position as Advisor Choi of the Taesan group. Upon her return home, she confronts Sook Hyang and expels her. Sook Hyang blames Myung Hee for everything, citing her parenting as the root cause of the tragic events, fueled by one son’s deep-seated inferiority complex towards the other.
  • Tae Ho takes Hyo Sim to the park where they first met, now deeply in love. He kneels before her, professing his love and proposing marriage.
  • After Sun Soon gives her approval for Tae Ho and Hyo Sim’s marriage, she feels a sense of melancholy, sincerely asking Tae Ho to take good care of Hyo Sim. Meanwhile, Hyo Sim receives an unexpected call informing her that her father has been hospitalized, leading to a long-awaited reunion.
