Sweet Moment #1: The Meet-Cute (Episode 1)
It is hard not to love the meet-cute moment between Yoo Seung Ho and Lee Hyeri in the first episode of “Moonshine.” In this scene, Yoo Seung Ho is straight off the boat and set for a wonderful adventure in Old Seoul, only his wallet is stolen. After chasing it down, he bumps into Lee Hyeri, who has a vendetta of her own to settle with some local thugs. Let’s just say a bow and arrow, a swooping hug, and a one-handed grab were involved.
Sweet Moment #2: The Hiding Place (Episode 4)
When Hyeri needed a hiding place fast, it didn’t matter that Yoo Seung Ho was already in the room. What did matter was that he stayed quiet! Which is why Hyeri had to push her hands onto his mouth to keep it shut. This, of course, pushed Seung Ho against the wall in shock and gave us a wonderfully intimate, awkward, and heated moment of quiet, alone time with the couple.
Sweet Moment #3: The Hand Touch (Episode 5)
With the gorgeous backdrop of colorful clothes framing this scene, the hand-to-cheek touch has to be in everyone’s top ten list of sweet moments in Moonshine. The scene did not start off bad at all either, with Yoo Seung Ho pulling Hyeri away to a quiet spot in the gisaeng house so they could talk about her habit of getting in trouble. But he was lost for words when her hand softly touched his cheek.
Sweet Moment #4: The Midnight Kiss (Episode 9)
Yes, of course, a kiss had to make the list! And what better kiss than the first kiss between the couple that started out as a run through a purple field of flowers under a starlit sky. When they had to stop running after Hyeri slipped, the moment was further brought alive with the gorgeous flowers cradling the in-love couple as they looked questioningly into each other’s eyes. This was also the kiss that Hyeri thought about later…and who wouldn’t!
Sweet Moment #5: Yoo Seung Ho’s Confession (Episode 14)
No matter how much you may like a person, or a person may like you, it never really rings fully true until you hear tell-tale truthful loving words of confession coming out of their mouth, “I am afraid of losing you…I will not let go of you, ever,” is what Yoo Seung Ho said to Hyeri which was exactly what she needed to hear in that moment. Also, is that my heart beating loudly or Hyeri’s?
