The 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards just concluded on July 19, and here is the list of winners!
In response to the continuing growth of OTT (over-the-top) streaming platforms, Sports Chosun launched South Korea’s first award ceremony specifically for streaming platforms in 2022. The Blue Dragon Series Awards honor excellence in dramas and variety shows produced by these streaming services. Nominees released from June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024, were selected through online voting and evaluated by Sports Chosun entertainment news reporters and industry experts.

The show concluded last month with many achievements, such as topping the rankings on the streaming platform WAVVE for consecutive weeks.
This dating reality show is loved for its unique mystery format, featuring siblings who pretend not to know each other, leaving the participants to guess who each other’s siblings are. This is the first dating reality show to feature siblings, and this twist adds excitement to the romance process. The siblings act as cupids or villains in each other’s love lives, making it feel like a family drama where viewers can empathize with the characters, alongside the romance and friendship dynamics.
Due to its success, “My Sibling’s Romance” garnered four nominations at the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards. The program, along with Code Kunst, Miyeon, and Patricia, was nominated for ‘Best Entertainment Program,’ ‘Best Male Entertainer,’ and ‘Best New Female Entertainer,’ respectively!
