TOMORROW X TOGETHER Yeonjun, rising actress Roh Jeong Eui, and super rookie actor Seo Beom Jun will be the next MCs of “SBS Inkigayo!”
On 15 March, “SBS Inkigayo” announced that IVE Yujin, NCT Sungchan, and TREASURE Jihoon will be leaving as MCs and TXT Yeonjun, Roh Jeong Eui, and Seo Beom Jun will join the show starting in April!
Producer Ryu Seung Ho, who is in charge of directing “SBS Inkigayo,” announced that he had a meeting with several prominent rising stars to become the new MCs for the reorganization of the show.
He described Seo Bum Jun as an actor with a bright personality and many talents. He said Roh Jeong Eui is a next-generation actress and described Yeonjun as a next-generation global K-Pop star who has a fun and chic side.
He exclaimed that “SBS Inkigayo” is the birthplace of top stars, and all three have the qualities to lead K-Culture in the near future. With the combination of two rising K-Actors and a K-Pop star, the show expects to offer new chemistry that can’t be seen anywhere else.
The current MCs of “SBS Inkigayo,” IVE Ahn Yujin, TREASURE Jihoon, and NCT Sungchan, which have been loved by fans under the nickname ‘MC Ni Ni Ni’ for the past year, will deliver their final greetings on March 27th.
The three of them perfectly presented any concept every week by displaying their bright and witty chemistry unique to their trio. We will definitely miss them!
Meet The New MCs
TXT Yeonjun
Yeonjun debuted as a member of HYBE’s boy group TXT in 2019 and showed his potential as a 4th-generation idol representative by charting on the US ‘Billboard Top 200’. He is receiving full love for his attractive appearance and skills.
Yeonjun is loved for his personality, that’s why he has been on many variety shows! He became a special MC for “SBS Inkigayo” before!
In “Weekly Idol” Ep 461, Yeon jun was introduced as talented in singing, rapping, and dancing! He is a hardworking idol who never lost first place during trainee days and was called BLT (BigHit’s Legendary Trainee).
He also appeared in “Running Man” Ep 532 together with his co-member Huening Kai. His group, TXT, had a special stage together with ENHYPEN where they performed K-Pop’s legendary songs at the “2021 KBS Song Festival.”
Roh Jeong Eui
Roh Jeong Eui recently starred in the successful SBS romantic comedy “Our Beloved Summer,” breaking away from her child role image and establishing herself as a representative actress in her 20s.
Roh Jeong Eui is a child actress who starred in numerous dramas such as “Witch’s Court,” “The Flower in Prison,” “Pinocchio,” “Angel Eyes,” and “King’s Doctor” where she played as the young version of the lead characters.
She recently won the ‘Best New Actress’ at the “2021 SBS Drama Awards“! Roh Jeong Eui plans to play an active role as “SBS Inkigayo‘s” new MC showing her fresh and refreshing side.
Seo Beom Jun
Seo Beom Jun, who was recently cast as the lead in a weekend drama, is a super rookie who has captured viewers’ eyes by playing various roles such as police officer, nurse, college student, and a lot more!
Recently, he has been active by making appearances in the romance drama “Nevertheless”, medical drama “Dr. Park’s Clinic,” and romantic coming of age drama “Rookie Cops”.
In the second year of his debut, he became the MC of “SBS Inkigayo” and aimed to increase his popularity.
As a K-Pop fan, I really enjoy watching music shows where I get to see the debut stage and comeback stages of different idols! I also love watching the interaction between the hosts and idols backstage!
