South Korea does not have a shortage of music-related shows. You can catch one every day of the week. So why should you be excited for the latest installment of the music show “The Seasons”? Because it’ll be hosted by AKMU!
If you’ve never heard of “The Seasons”, it’s a late-night music talk show where the focus is chatting with artists and helping viewers relieve stress after a long week. Every season there is a new host. The first season was hosted by Jay Park and the second was hosted by Choi Jung Hoon. Now it’ll be hosted by the brother-sister duo AKMU! The new name for season three is “The Seasons: Long Day, Long Night with AKMU”. Sounds chill, doesn’t it?
I think it’s neat how the show tailors each season to their new host, and I’m looking forward to seeing Lee Soo Hyun and Lee Chan Hyuk’s brand of sibling banter play out in a new setting. They’re going to breathe new life into the talk show and draw a lot of viewers.
If you’re a fan of the musical duo, then you’ll be glad to know they’re in the middle of a comeback after a two-year break. Their new single is called “Love Lee” and you can watch the music video here. It’s cute and light just like them.
After dancing to “Love Lee”, check out “The Seasons: Long Day, Long Night with AKMU” on KOCOWA+. It’s a good time.
