Our favorite idol actor EXO D.O. also known as Do Kyung Soo, is confirmed to star in a KBS drama alongside rising actress Lee See Hee and everyone is ecstatic about this pairing!
Kyung Soo enlisted in the military in 2019 and was discharged after 2 years, so it’s been a while since we last saw him after his historical romance drama “100 Days My Prince” together with Nam Ji Hyun.

Meanwhile, rising actress Lee Se Hee who recently received a lot of love for her role as Park Dan Dan in the family romance “Young Lady and Gentleman,” which ended with a phenomenal record of 38.2%, is joining EXO D.O in “Real Sword Battle” as the female lead!
“Real Sword Battle”
D.O.’s new KBS drama, “Real Sword Battle,” which is scheduled to air later this year, will tell the story of an eccentric and tough prosecutor named Jin Jung who takes down greedy people who live in sanctuaries created by wealth and power.
The drama is expected to show a refreshing sense of justice since the main character uses expediency over the law, tricks over standard procedures, and moral corruption over sincerity to punish corrupt and powerful people who are eroding society.
The upcoming KBS drama will be a collaboration between director Kim Sung Ho who showed emotional and sophisticated directing skills through the Netflix series “Move to Heaven,” and writer Im Young Bin, who co-wrote the JTBC drama “Sketch.”
Do Kyung Soo will be playing the main character of the drama by taking on the role of Jin Jung, a prosecutor in the 3rd division of the Central District Prosecutors’ Office.
D.O. will transform himself into a charming man with a devilish character, and has a deep sense of justice and conscience as he stands on the side of the weak and fights evil with a mentality of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
Lee Se Hee will be playing the role of Shin A Ra, a senior prosecutor in the criminal investigation department of the Central District Prosecutors’ Office. As the right-hand woman in the office, Lee Se Hee’s character will have a great sense of politics and remarkable social skills which makes her completely different from D.O.’s crazy character, Jin Jung.
We’ll be seeing a different kind of chemistry between the two when A Ra takes care of and protects Jin Jung more than anyone else!
Do Kyung Soo
Do Kyung Soo is one of the most loved idol actors! He appeared in the 2012 romantic comedy sports drama “To The Beautiful You” as himself and gained immense recognition when he played a dynamic supporting character in the romance medical drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love” starring Zo In Sung and Kong Hyo Jin. He was praised for his natural acting skills despite the fact that “It’s Okay, That’s Love” was his first drama.
EXO’s D.O. has been widening his filmography while being recognized for his appealing acting skills in different dramas and movies! “True Sword Battle” will be D.O’s first drama comeback after being discharged from the military last year, so it is attracting a lot of attention!
D.O. debuted in 2012 as a member of one of the biggest boy groups, EXO, and started his acting career in 2014. Kyung Soo is one of the group’s representative actors!

Lee Se Hee
Lee Se Hee recently won the ‘Best Female Rookie’ award at the “2021 KBS Drama Awards“, for her role as Park Dan Dan in KBS “Young Lady and Gentleman,” where she was selected as the female lead after passing through an audition competition of 500 to 1.
The actress is one of the hottest rising stars of today! She made her debut in 2019 and appeared in different K-Dramas such as school romance “Live On” and medical drama “Hospital Playlist 2”. There is a growing interest in Lee Se Hee’s acting transformation!
