After waiting for 3 long years, the kings of K-Pop are finally coming back, and we could not be more excited as their music label has officially announced that the group will return with a brand new album on March 20! This will be their first full group album release since 2022. Time really flies, right?
Why BTS is so Loved?

When you think of K-Pop, one group that comes to everybody’s mind is BTS. They are probably the biggest K-Pop group to ever exist, loved both locally and internationally all around the world. They first gained attention for their music and for starting out under a small music label. K-Pop used to be dominated by the Big 3, which are SM, YG, and JYP, but BTS came in and became a worldwide sensation!
Since then, BTS has continued to release great music while also showing their warm and funny personalities, which made people love them even more. During their early days, the group appeared on numerous K-Variety shows that showcased their talent, charisma, and chemistry with other entertainers. For fans, these are the kinds of shows you should not miss because you need to see their beginnings and how much they have grown, not just as artists but also as people.
“Running Man” Episode 300

One of the most unforgettable variety show appearances of BTS has to be their guesting on “Running Man” episode 300! For those unfamiliar with the show, this is one of Korea’s most iconic variety shows starring the nation’s MC, Yu Jae Seok, and it is known for its intense missions and legendary name tag elimination games. What I love most about the show is that it always brings out the competitive side of its guests, and we clearly witnessed that during BTS’s guesting in episodes 300 and 627!
In episode 300, it was nice to see rookie BTS showing their high energy and strong drive to win the missions, especially how comfortable and playful the members were. They did not hold back when it came to being funny, dramatic, or a little chaotic. Through this episode, we get to see their team chemistry and how they supported one another throughout the games.
“Star Show 360” Episode 8
Another must-watch throwback is their appearance on “Star Show 360” episode 8. It is a talk show where celebrities sit down for fun yet meaningful conversations with the hosts, sharing stories about their careers and personal lives. Hosted by Lee Teuk and filled with star-studded idol guests like BTS, Apink, EXO, IOI, Seventeen, and more, this show gives a full 360-degree view of endearing K-Pop stars!
When BTS appeared on episode 8, the members were able to openly talk about their beginnings, struggles, and journey, which made us love them even more. Through this show, the members showed more of their personal side, allowing us to see their sincerity and honesty as artists who worked their way up step by step.
“Home Alone” Episode 586
One of the most interesting K-Variety shows, where we get to see the everyday lives of our favorite stars at home, is “Home Alone.” In episode 586, we get to see BTS J-Hope appear on the show! From the moment he wakes up to his daily routine, we discovered new details about him that made us adore him even more.
Through this episode, we get to see more of his thought process and how he reacts to daily situations, which is both relatable and entertaining. I love how we get to see his natural and unfiltered side, showing us that there is more to the superstar BTS members when they are off stage.
“Beat Coin” Episode 30
If you are looking to see the competitive side of the members, “Beat Coin” episode 30 is the one you should watch! This is a variety show where a coin determines the cast’s fate, and it is known for its unpredictable missions and playful punishments.
In episode 30, BTS Jimin appeared on the show, showing us his competitive spirit and how quickly he blended in with the cast members while playing games. He matched the energy of the regular cast with his quick wit and strong drive. This kind of show is fast-paced and full of humorous penalties, making every episode even more entertaining to watch.
BTS is really THAT group, and we cannot wait for them to return next week! Do not worry about where to watch them because their shows are available for streaming on KOCOWA+ with multiple subtitle options!
