Here are the highlights of episodes 6 & 7 of “Live Your Own Life”!
“Live Your Own Life” Episode 6 & 7 Recap:
- Tae Min’s father, Jin Bum, who is supposed to be on the throne of Taesan Group, cannot forget his old habits of being a cobbler and still, to this day, cleans and fixes shoes for gentlemen. His wife, Sook Hyang, hates that this will jeopardize her image and her need, and greed, for her husband to be this big person at Taesan Group.
- Hyo Do takes good care of Mi Hyang, who stays at his place. Mi Hyang is still hiding. Hyo Do asks for Mi Hyang’s signature on the paper that says, ” She promises not to file for a civil suit or claim for damages from the car accident.”
- After Hyo Sim unintentionally stands up Tae Min on the dinner date he asked her for, she apologizes and asks him again for another dinner date.
- Tae Ho sprained his back while working out and Hyo Sim gets scolded for that. Because Tae Ho is a family member of the Taesan group and because the gym that Hyo Sim is working on is owned by the company, she gets blamed for not being a close watch on Tae Ho.
- Sook Hyang is still in search of Mi Hyang, but she wishes that Mi Hyang were forever gone or gets amnesia and does not remember a thing. Because Sook Hyang knows for a fact that when Mi Hyang comes back, her husband won’t have a place in Taesan Group.
- Hyo Sim suffers from loan shark harassment after her younger brother, Hyo Do, borrowed big money from them to pursue his small business and buy a Mercedez Benz that is totally out of his league. Hyo Sim is so fed up with cleaning up her family members’ and mother’s messes. But she always feels like she’s the only responsible person who can help with all her family’s messes. She heads to a dinner date but has been crying so much and has been having so much stress from the loan sharks, that she shows up at the dinner date, not as her best self. When Hyo Sim comes back home, Mi Hyang is with her and feels a deep empathy for Hyo Sim who has been kind to her all this time.
- Tae Ho finds out that coincidently, his grandmother, Mi Hyang, went missing when it was time to elect the CEO of Taesan Group.
- Mi Hyang, who has to hide herself from possibly getting found by Sook Hyang, asks if she can stay longer on the top floor of the building where Hyo Sim’s family is staying.
- Tae Min expresses his feelings towards Hyo Sim. He tells her he does not want to just have a gym relationship as a trainer and a client, but something more.
- As days and months go by, Hyo Sim’s mother’s yearning for her long-lost husband intensifies. And Hyo Sim, being the only daughter in the family, feels another burden on her shoulders.

Mi Hyang talks to Hyo Sim about her issues with her family. She has incompetent sons and her daughter-in-law is out to get her.
Tae Ho finds it strange that his family company, which is one of the biggest companies in the country, does not have the resources or power to find his grandmother now.
